Ron DeSantis is set to have a debate with California Governor Gavin Newsom. I hate both of them. So and it's just it's nonsense. But they're going to do this debate. And the Trump camp has decided to attack Ron DeSantis for doing so. [00:00:16] And so they put out a statement that I find hilarious. In a bizarre official campaign statement titled Kiss of Death Ron DeSantis is thirsty AF. Trump spokesman Stephen Chung. [00:00:31] Chung chung. Okay, so here's what he said in the statement. This is what he wrote. Okay. Ron Desanctimonious is acting more like a thirsty third rate only. Only fans want to be model than an actual presidential candidate. I mean, that is rich coming from the Trump camp, but nonetheless, instead of actually [00:00:49] campaigning and trying to turn around his dismal poll numbers, DeSantis is now so desperate for attention, he's debating a grade A loser like Gavin Newsom. I mean, that is true. That is true. There's more. There's more. [00:01:05] At the debate, Ron will flail his arms and bobble his head wildly, looking more like a San Francisco crackhead than the governor of Florida. That sounds real presidential, by the way. This isn't a prediction. It's a spoiler. [00:01:21] Hopefully, for Ron, it's a seated debate so he won't have to mash his foot into the high heels to look taller. But if not, he'll definitely be on a 12 inch step stool so he can peak right above the podium. [00:01:38] You. Oh, Jesus. - Jake's not amused, I am okay. - No, look, I am in a sense, but I'm. - I'm actually mad at Democrats because. - Oh, please don't ruin the story. So like, Democrats will look at that and go so unpresidential that, you know, that's ridiculous. You can't win like that. [00:02:12] Except you already won like that. And right now he's up by eight. And the minute anyone does like 10% of that on the Democratic side, they're like, how dare you? That's so silly. You can't win doing that. You have to win by being super boring and never saying anything interesting at all. [00:02:31] Why? Why? I just the fact that they deny reality is this guy is saying that the governor of Florida, who is like one of the most popular people in his own party, is a crackhead and wears heels. He looks like a crackhead when he bobbles his head around. It looks like a crackhead. [00:02:46] Let's be factual here. Oh yeah. And that he's something AF. Thirsty? Thirsty as AF. Are you? Like, if a Democrat said anything like that, they'd be tarred and feathered and run out of town and then. But that guy might have won, but that guy might have won. [00:03:03] Instead, they just put up one loser after another. They never learn. So you're not supposed to learn from Trump's racism and sexism and all and hatred. ET cetera. But his irreverent attitude clearly works. It works with independence. That's why he's got a giant lead right now. [00:03:20] Look, I will say, if we were to have a situation in which the tables were turned and rather than, you know, Trump doing this or the Trump camp doing this, it would be the Biden camp doing it against Gavin Newsom. I would be highly amused by that. [00:03:35] And I might reconsider the fact that I'm not going to vote for Biden. Like. But that's my point, which is that Biden would never do that. None. No Democrat other than Fetterman would ever do that. And so, oh my. God, can you imagine if one day, I don't know, like Biden gets a shot of adrenaline [00:03:55] and he just goes on national television and just starts dunking on Gavin Newsom?
