Trump's Ballroom Plans ROCKED By Shattering Data As GOP Reveals Financial Disaster
Donald Trump loses his mind over his ballroom plans on social media as data proves the public, including his base, is strongly against it and Senate Republicans reveal insane amount of taxpayer funds for the ballroom they are adding to their budget bill, after they cut funding for medicaid and key benefits. John Iadarola breaks it down on The Damage Report. Leave a comment with your thoughts below!

Trump launched us into this illegal and stupid
and very wasteful war. It has ruined the economy.
It's further ruined our reputation abroad. His
allies are desperate for him to focus, take
some sort of a deal, declare victory, even if
you don't really have one and just get us out
[00:00:17]
of here. But he is not remotely interested in
that, okay? He's interested in just a feel
good thing. And that of course starts with a
B and ends with an all room, he wants ballroom.
Here is what he was posting yesterday on true
social. Now you can see as we scroll, it is
[00:00:37]
post after post after post after post. I'm
not going to say it eight times. There are
eight mashup images of a variety of political
hacks and media hacks saying that we need
ballroom. And one of two things happen either
Donald Trump collected all of these and Photoshop
[00:00:58]
them together. and spent his time as President
United States, that he was willing to do a
coup to become, posting those on social media.
Or maybe he had his aides who we pay to put
together those mashups so that he could then
put them out. Because he needs to remind his
[00:01:17]
true social following that we desperately need
ballroom. Now, we were planning on talking
about this anyway. there's an update as of
this morning, which is that he then put out
like five mashups of a bunch of social media
comments of people complimenting him on how
[00:01:36]
good the state of the union was. And no, you're
not having a stroke. The state of the union
was like four months ago, and he's like, I
just want someone to compliment me. And so
maybe all of this is copium, maybe the ballroom
is copium, maybe the state of the union is
[00:01:54]
copium. I don't know, but clearly he's not thinking
about the war if he's thinking about how he'll
feel better when he sees these images scrolling
on his true social. Anyway, he cares about
this. I just want to reassure you that if you
don't care about this, if you don't think this
[00:02:09]
is a good use of our time or money, you are
in very good company. Because in terms of national
support for the ballroom project, it is at 28
% support when you ask people. That's when
you tell them that private businesses or whatever
will be corruptly paying the $400 million for
[00:02:29]
it. 28%, which is not even the entirety of Donald
Trump's hardcore base say that it's a good
idea. And by the way, I believe that that poll
at least partially comes after the 24th, 28th.
Yeah, think some of that might have come after
the shooting when they tried to claim that
[00:02:46]
the shooting would have been stopped if it was
in ballroom. It did not go up, there's no more
support than there was. By the way, just in
general, people hate Donald Trump putting his
name on everything, making everything about
him. The passports, the money, the buildings,
[00:03:01]
the pictures, his ugly mug. Should you put your
name on government buildings while you're
president? 9 % say that you should. 21 % say
after. I mean, again, he's not in charge
[00:03:18]
at that point, but they're like, okay, I guess
after your 9%, that is the lowest level of
support I think I have ever seen for anything
in my life. And that is the number one thing
he is doing day after day. Now, I'm glad the
American people woken up to all of this, but
[00:03:38]
it's time for me to feel good, okay? I didn't
do a State of the Union, I can't do that copium,
but I can do this copium. Because Senate Republicans
are now seeking $1 billion for the white House
ballroom, one bub-bub-bub-bub-billion, that's
with a B. Who told you it would be a billion?
[00:03:59]
Who told you? They said I was crazy. I don't
know if they did, but they probably said I
was crazy. It's a conspiracy theory. Yeah, you
think it's gonna cost 200 million? Well, you
think it's gonna cost 300 million? A day goes
by, you think it's gonna cost 400 million?
[00:04:15]
And it keeps going up and up and up. And I told
you we haven't even gotten started yet. It's
gonna cost so much more. And now the Senate
Republicans are like $1 billion. Although honestly,
I think I was even more right than I thought
because as was pointed out by producer Mike,
[00:04:31]
that's $1 billion the Senate wants to pay for
it. But I've been told they already got $350
million. So I guess it's actually $1.35 billion
for the stupid ballroom. Here's more details.
[00:04:47]
The use of public funds would be limited to
building above ground and below ground security
elements only. What does that mean? Above ground
and below ground, that is everything. You are
either above ground or you are below ground.
There's nothing else other than that. You're
[00:05:05]
not getting any bonus points from me. Security
elements. Okay, I'm being charitable by saying
they're gonna build the ballroom with that.
If they're not even building the ballroom with
that, and that's just security, I don't think
we have any idea how much this damn thing is
[00:05:21]
gonna cost. Is it gonna cost $5 billion? At
that point, I don't even know what these security
elements are, but that's what they're asking
for. They're also asking for $30.7 billion
for immigration and customs enforcement. And
you can understand why they need that money.
I mean, they were only given like $100 billion
less than a year ago. It's easy to blow through
[00:05:40]
all of that. $3.5 billion for customs and border
protection. And yeah, I just want to remind
everyone, there is no money in this budget
for health insurance. There is no money in
this budget for scientific research, advancements
in fighting cancer, dealing with climate change.
[00:05:59]
There is no money for any of that. And there
is no limit on the money that they will burn
for ICE and Border Patrol and Christy Noem
hype videos and Cash Patel partying with hockey
players getting wild and wacky with them getting
a little wet and slippery. There is no limit
[00:06:17]
to the money for their priorities. deal with
the most pressing issues that face our nation.
Shut the hell up about it, okay? We're not
interested and we're not paying for it. Endless
money for ballroom though, $1 billion, that's
just the down payment for this stupid building
[00:06:35]
that we're going to make. And that's not even
including the arch and that's not including
all this other nonsense. This is what they are
focused on, not just Trump, but the Senate
as well. They should be holding hearings. over
this war. They should be invoking the War Powers
Act. They should be impeaching and convicting
Donald Trump. Instead, they're just helping
[00:06:55]
him on the path for his stupid, stupid side
quest. You know what TYT has always been about?
