Eric Swalwell CORNERED Over Nude Snapchat Videos As Allegations Get Worse
Former Democratic congressman Eric Swalwell gets cornered over the gross snapchat videos from his congressional account as allegations of his behavior towards young women get even worse. John Iadarola breaks it down on The Damage Report. Leave a comment with your thoughts below!
- 9 minutes
former Congressman Eric Swalwell, who had been
running to be the governor of my state of California.
And thankfully that didn't happen is facing
as you know, incredibly serious allegations
regarding his sexual harassment and more towards
more than a dozen women. And it has somehow
gotten worse as of this week. Bear in mind
for all of this, he is married with three kids
[00:00:20]
and he is a guy who clearly has been looking
ahead to future offices for some time. Keep
all of that in your mind as you find out. the
shenanigans he was getting up to. So he is
already facing allegations of sexual harassment,
allegations of sexual assault as well. Several
[00:00:39]
women have told CNN that the Congresswoman had
sent them sexually explicit messages on Snapchat
after he became quote, one of the first lawmakers
to join Snapchat and was heralded in the media
as the Snapchat King of Congress. Of course,
considering that a big part of Snapchat is
[00:00:56]
sending pics, I suppose to be king you do have
to do as the Romans do. But anyway, he was
one of the first members in Congress to join
Snapchat. And here's how he pitched it as
the time. We can restore a lot of faith that
people have in their democracy by opening it
[00:01:11]
up a little bit more. Snapchat is a great way
to do that. And I don't know, maybe he was
lying then or maybe he did have the best of
intentions on day one. But rapidly, transparency
and renewal of democracy gave way to just being
a big old stage five creep. So one young woman
[00:01:30]
claimed that Swalwell would send her Snapchat
messages about her future before asking inappropriate
questions such as, what are you wearing? He's
a very creative man. Two other women told CNN
that Swalwell sent them quote sexually explicit
messages and unsolicited nude photos and videos
of himself back in 2021. While a third woman
also claimed to have received sexually tinged
[00:01:50]
messages and videos. So he was doing that in
the darkest depths of the pandemic. I know
that we were all in a bad place. we were all
starting up hobbies. There's gotta be a better
way. During one relationship, he reportedly
sent nude photos of himself and videos of himself
[00:02:07]
masturbating, which showed the congressman's
face and naked body. I'll return to that in
one second. His stories would be like his congressional
content, but then he would be sending me dick
pics, one woman alleged. Adding that Swalwell
sent her another explicit video late last year,
[00:02:23]
just weeks before he announced his gubernatorial.
campaign. And I just want you to meditate for
a second on the idea that a public figure, a
very well known public figure, one of the
most high profile Democrats who apparently
would want to be governor, who might well have
[00:02:45]
run for president someday, decided not only
am I going to use social media to creep on
young women as young as 19 years old when he
is married. with three kids. He is going to
send a video of himself masturbating allegedly
with his whole ass face in the video. The
[00:03:07]
hubris, the literal balls on this guy. How
did you think that that would not come back
to bite you on the ass? Forget the horror of
it, of inflicting this on all these people,
being such a weirdo. You've gotta be driving
people away from politics by treating them
[00:03:24]
like this. But to then think that you can do
that and someday run for governor is just
a level of confidence I will never have in my
life. Anyway, so he's on LinkedIn, trying
to get some as you do, I guess. I don't know,
I don't use LinkedIn. I tried to log in one
[00:03:42]
time and it literally sent an email to every
one of my contacts and how could that possibly
be the way the system works? So I'm never going
on there again. Anyway, he would find people
as young as 19 years old. offered to write them
letters of recommendation and then send them
videos of himself masturbating. Which is maybe
the grossest bait and switch in world history.
[00:04:01]
So one woman, this was a 19 year old by the
way, Clara McCloutchick. She was working as
a restaurant hostess at the time, claimed that
Swallow managed to track her down on LinkedIn.
So he saw her I guess at a restaurant, then
found her on LinkedIn, which is already way
[00:04:17]
too much work. Where he sent her flirty messages,
offered to then write her letter of recommendation.
her name was beautiful after speaking with her
for less than 15 minutes while dining at the
restaurant in 2021. Maybe with his family, I
don't know. She says, I remember being surprised
[00:04:33]
getting a message from him since I didn't give
him any information other than maybe my first
name. He was literally over double my age. So
he has boundless renewable confidence and also
[00:04:48]
the amount of work like he's at a dinner. And
he's just scoping them out, man. He's twice
as old. He has no ability to, like he had that
interaction. And coming out of it, he came
to the conclusion, this young woman wants me
to find her, stalk her on the internet, and
[00:05:09]
begin sending her messages, including videos
of me masturbating. he also, politicians are
supposed to be able to read people. That's supposed
to be the one skill that they have. And this
is what he did with that supposed skill. Anyway,
I don't want to leave you with the conclusion
[00:05:24]
that now that Swalwell is out of the house and
not running for office again, we've cured ourselves
of the creeps in Congress because we very much
have not. Let's jump into another. GOP representative
Chuck Edwards is now facing a house ethics investigation,
which it seems to be the season four, over
[00:05:40]
sexual harassment. And we have all the details
of his apparent bad behavior. So you're seeing
a picture of him right here. No notes, you're
nailing it buddy. Anyway, three sources told
Axios that they witnessed conduct by Edwards
towards two female staffers in their 20s
[00:05:56]
that they described as inappropriate. That's
their word. I'm gonna give you the details
and you come to your own conclusion about whether
it was inappropriate. So here's one of the
allegations concerning a staffer. Edwards and
the woman spent time vacationing together in
Las Vegas, months after she had left his office
according to two sources familiar with the
[00:06:13]
trip. Axios reviewed receipts showing Edwards
had booked two rooms at the Bellagio back in
2025, that's last year. As well as messages
indicating that the woman was also in Las Vegas
on at least one of those dates. At the time,
staff in Edwards' office were concerned about
[00:06:28]
the congressman returning to Washington to vote
on reopening the government and shutdown related
airport delays. That's what they were concerned
with, he was perhaps concerned with something
else. He expressed deep personal affection for
the staffer in a three page handwritten note.
Handwritten notes, a lost art, three pages,
ain't nobody got time for that. Keep it to
[00:06:48]
one, buddy. Anyway, he says you are the most
amazing woman, Axios reviewed this. I only
wish I could explain the joy and meaning to
me for the time we spent together at the office,
but especially away from it. Your kindness,
encouragement, and lightheartedness have written
[00:07:04]
a complex chapter in my heart that I will never
stop reading. The letter was signed with my
lifetime of appreciation and devotion. Chuck.
So if that was a handwritten note that a guy
had written to his wife of 45 years, that's
so beautiful. That's poetic. Why doesn't anyone
[00:07:24]
write like that anymore? But when you're sending
that to a young staffer that you might or might
not have even been in a relationship with, that's
not why they work for you. Stop being a creep
and it's everywhere. We can't go a day without
being reminded of the fact that Congress people
[00:07:41]
are doing this. Anyone who goes to work on
Capitol Hill, and you kind of need to for certain
types of jobs, certain types of career paths,
you are opening yourself up to this sort of
bizarre creepy predation. You might get gifts
along the way. One gift included a custom puzzle
[00:07:57]
that when assembled, revealed an image of actor
Adam Sandler alongside a handwritten note inviting
the staffer to attend one of Sandler's comedy
shows with him. I'm going to be thinking about
that for the rest of the day. Edwards also gave
gifts including a purse to another young female
[00:08:15]
staffer in her 20s and took the second staffer
as his guest to events, including the White
House Christmas party in 2024. He also often
complimented their outfits and appearances.
And perhaps the grossest thing about all of
this is that when he has this timeless chapter
[00:08:32]
written on his heart, he's also pursuing other
women. Where's the loyalty? Anyway, I'm joking.
That's not the grossest part. The grossest part
was probably the picture I showed you to begin
this. The second grossest part is that he has
been married since 1980. 1980, Harrington would
[00:08:51]
say. He's been married for 85 years and he is
preying on these women that weren't born until
he was in his, I don't know, 50s? Anyway, the
house is utterly full of creeps. And by the
[00:09:06]
way, we've had to pay out. because of all their
creepiness. House sexual harassment payouts
apparently exceeded over the past couple of
decades $300,000. And I guarantee that is
an undercount of what should have been sent
and not nearly enough to each of the people
[00:09:23]
that had to deal with this crap.
