Ben Shapiro Wants CENSORSHIP On X
Ben Shapiro thinks X is unusable because of antisemitism.
- 14 minutes
There's certainly a lot of truth to the idea
that left-wing teachers are indoctrinating
kids into a viewpoint on the world that does
cross paths into what causes the symptom that
is Jew hatred. I think that's for sure true.
Honestly, I think that the bigger danger when
I look at young people right now is social media.
Okay, I love this story because we're going
[00:00:20]
to show you the longer clip and you're going
to see every accusation is a confession. So
we look forward to that. And then he accidentally
admits how much Israel tries to control the
media and does control the media. So yes, tell
us about it. All right, so before we go any
[00:00:38]
further, here's some more of Ben Shapiro's comments.
And I want you to pay really close attention
to his specific talking points. Let's watch.
And if you spent any time on X at all over
the course of the last couple of years, it is
unusable, truly unusable. I mean, just a vile
[00:00:54]
stream of trash. And I think that was true
of TikTok as well. I mean, what do we do?
I mean, I think that you only do what you can,
meaning that I don't control the algorithms.
Hopefully somebody who's more responsible now
will help control the algorithms. I'm glad
[00:01:10]
that TikTok was taken away from China. I'm
not sure how much algorithmic control is given
to the new owners. That's sort of the big question.
I think that Elon should obviously boot
the bots from his algorithm. because I think
a lot of this is foreign bot driven. Frankly,
and I think the algorithm creates extraordinary
reality. Yes, there's money being used 100%.
[00:01:30]
Extraordinary reality is being driven for unknown
accounts. You can see it in your recommendations.
I remember at one point I actually reached out
to Elon's people directly about this. So yes,
I agree with you that young people are being
faced with a plethora of bad information. All
[00:01:48]
right, so this week, Breaking Points interviewed
a former TikTok executive who now happens to
be running for Congress. So he joined the company
shortly after October 7th, 2023. And he explained
exactly how the Israel first lobby ran a pressure
campaign on TikTok in case you had any doubts
[00:02:06]
as to who is in control. Let's watch that. And
my job at TikTok, we're getting all these inquiries
from different elected officials. pro-Israeli
or uh lobbying organizations, think of ADL
[00:02:22]
and all of those. The pressure was unbelievable.
Words cannot describe the amount of pressure
that existed. And it became the number one
headwind for the company that could result
in the lack of its existence in the largest
consumer market in the entire world. uh We
[00:02:40]
were getting inbound inquiries and this is
public information. You could see a lot of
these letters. online, I mean, every few days,
every other day from pro-Israeli lobbying
organizations, from pro-Israel perspective,
legislators, and the company was just being
[00:03:00]
inundated. All right, so who is in charge here?
This is the United States of America. Are we
in charge of our own media? We have someone
like who we just saw who is confirming what
a lot of us have suspected and that is that
Israel, not the Jews, I want to be clear, but
[00:03:18]
Israel is controlling or at least attempting
to control a lot of our media that we see
and consume here in the United States. And we
see it everywhere. We see these pro-Israeli
talking points that are being boosted in everyone's
algorithms. We find it very difficult to see
anything pro-Palestinian. And certainly we
don't really see a whole lot of that in from
[00:03:38]
mainstream media sources. We do see it from
other smaller places. You see it from us definitely.
But CNN is not running anything pro-Palestinian
or the New York Times or anything like that.
uh Cenk, I was confused as to how Ben Shapiro
has a direct line to Elon Musk to tell him
[00:03:57]
what to do with his algorithm because I didn't
think he was that influential. What do you
think? Yeah, so that is curious, isn't it? So
let's go to all the confessions there. oh
So he says, well, first of all, to X and TikTok
are trash, right? Why? Because TikTok shows
the actual videos from Gaza. And once you see
two of those videos, you'll hate the Israelis
[00:04:18]
forever. And you should for what they've done.
It is horrific. Not forever, if they turn around
and they get to peace, sure, God bless, welcome
back to the League of Nations, right? But
for now, they're disgusting fascist government
that is slaughtering children in Gaza, Lebanon,
and now Iran. So he's like, don't watch, whatever
you do, don't watch, we've got to control the
[00:04:37]
algorithms. Thank you for confession number
one. He said, we need help in controlling the
algorithms. Then confession number two, well,
TikTok, we're okay now. Well, if we can fully
control the algorithm. You're just confessing
on air that of the thing that you call a trope.
[00:04:56]
Okay, so look before and it's been amazing
how they've begun to confess completely before
the Ellison's bought it. Ellison, the way,
Larry Ellison is the biggest donor. He think
to the IDF, he thinks IDF is a charity. He's
given them $16 million like, boy, way to murder
[00:05:14]
more Palestinian children. Okay, that's who
bought TikTok is now going to help. control
the algorithms. But Mitt Romney, I'm to go
to clip five here, Mitt Romney started admitting
this while they were pressuring TikTok, you
better sell, you better sell. So that TikTok
[00:05:32]
executive you just saw, that's what he's talking
about. And the company's thinking, well, this
is going to affect literally billions of dollars,
even if we have to sell. If we're forced to
sell, it'll shave off at least, Scott Galloway
did a great segment on this, shave off a quarter
[00:05:47]
of our valuation at a minimum. potentially
tens of billions of dollars, right? That they're
going to steal from us. And Romney back in
the day was like, yeah, because of the Israelis
watch. There was such overwhelming support
for us to shut down potentially TikTok or other
[00:06:03]
entities of that nature. If you look at the
postings on TikTok and the number of mentions
of Palestinians relative to other social media
sites, it's overwhelmingly so among TikTok.
broadcast so I'd I'd know that's a real interest
and the president will get the chance to to
[00:06:22]
make action in that regard typically the Israelis
are good at PR What's happened here? How have
they how have they and we been so ineffective
at communicating? m The the realities there
and our point of view Look, one of the biggest
problems with political media right now isn't
[00:06:41]
just bias. It's how quickly the same story gets
spun into two completely different realities
depending on who's telling it. That's why I
recommend ground news. It's a website and app
that pulls together reporting from across the
political spectrum so you can compare how the
same story is being covered, who's covering
it, and what kind of narrative they're pushing.
[00:06:58]
Take this story about Pete Hegseth refusing
to rule out US troops on the ground in Iran.
On ground news, you can immediately see how
differently outlets frame that same development.
The Daily Signal downplays the danger by stressing
that this isn't Iraq and that the war won't
[00:07:14]
be endless. NBC meanwhile focuses on the key
fact that Hegseth would not rule out American
boots on the ground in Iran. Same story, two
completely different realities. And ground
news makes that obvious right away. You can
compare headlines side by side, see the bias
[00:07:31]
distribution of the coverage, check the factuality
ratings of the sources, and even see who owns
the outlets behind the reporting. That matters
because once you understand how stories are
being framed, you start to see how public consent
gets manufactured. Ground News also has a blind
[00:07:48]
spot feed that highlights stories that one
side of the political spectrum is barely covering.
So you're not just trapped inside the version
of the world your algorithm wants to feed you.
If you're tired of being fed somebody else's
narrative, I genuinely recommend ground news.
[00:08:04]
Go to ground.News slash TYT or scan the QR
code. Using our link gets you 40 % off ground
news vantage plan and you can also gift a subscription
directly through ground news. That was back
[00:08:19]
when they were pretending that the problem was
China. We're worried that China owns it.
But here, Ben Shapiro even admitted, we'll try
to get the algorithm away from China and give
it to Israel. Wait, wait, you say, well, now,
Mitt Romney said it, Ben Shapiro obviously
[00:08:34]
100 % in favor of Israel. And that's what he's
talking about here. it's not like the Prime
Minister of Israel said it too. Wait, that's,
I believe, video seven. Well, we have to fight
with the weapons that apply to the battlefields
in which we're engaged. important ones are
[00:08:52]
the social media. And the most important purchase
that is going on right now is class. Tick
tock, tick tock number one, number one. And
I hope it goes through because it can be consequential.
[00:09:09]
And the other one, what's the other one that's
most important? X. You know to this day,
if you say Israel's controlling our media, literally
almost everyone in mainstream media goes anti-Semite.
[00:09:25]
That's a trope. Dude, the prime minister is
saying, we just bought TikTok. What do mean
we? We're buying TikTok and we gotta control
X and Ben Shapiro comes out and they're watching
the truth. We don't want the truth to get out.
We gotta control the algorithms in TikTok.
What control, what me? Golly gee, right? Okay,
so we already got two confessions. Here's the
[00:09:44]
third confession. There's a lot of foreign bots
on X, he says. You betcha. Why does he? Look
guys, what projection means is, if you don't
know it, is like whatever you're thinking,
you project onto the other person, right? So
Israel has wall to wall bots on X. You can't
[00:10:02]
throw a tweet on X without hitting an Israeli
bot or 100 of them, right? So he's assuming
like, if we're doing it, bet. Kazakhstan's doing
it too and Pakistan too. Come on, brother,
okay? And then the fourth confession is there's
a lot of foreign money influencing. oh Come
[00:10:20]
on, foreign money. Not everyone is as evil
and duplicitous as the Israelis. But he assumes
that everybody must be. So he's like, mean,
aren't you all trying to buy America like we
are, the American media, and control their algorithms?
But we have no control, no control, no control,
[00:10:40]
right? And isn't everybody using foreign bots
and money? No, but thank you for the confession,
Ben. Okay, that's for number five. I reached
out to Elon and told him to change his algorithm.
You did. See, that's weird because that goes
to Yaz's question. So um there's a lot of
[00:10:59]
really powerful shows in the top 50 shows on
YouTube and online video. Are we among them?
Sure. uh So we're in the top 30, okay? And
it's a big crowded field, etc. But when I
[00:11:15]
did a tweet and Elon responded to it, it became
like a national story. Like, wow, okay, look
at Elon responding to someone on the left,
etc., right? This brother is not in the top
200 of online videos. I've never seen him in
a ranking. Maybe his podcast is okay. I don't
[00:11:31]
know if he's got any viewers left at all there
or listeners. But in video, Daily Wire is
a ghost. It's like a shade above Mark Levin.
So Levin has 12 viewers, I think. And I don't
[00:11:46]
know if Shapiro has 14 or 15. I don't know,
I've never seen him at any ranking, right?
But he can call Elon anytime, hey, Elon, shut
up. I'm here to control your algorithm. Why
is Elon taking this pipsqueak's call? Because
Ben Shapiro isn't representing Ben Shapiro.
[00:12:03]
Ben Shapiro is representing Israel. So when
Israel calls, you take the call, confession
number five. So we appreciate it, Ben, keep
talking. Let us know exactly how you're planning
to control our media here in America. Yeah,
and these are the people who are positioning
[00:12:19]
themselves as thought leaders to Americans just
because they have the money to do it because
they're being bankrolled. by Israel, which
is sort of also by us because it's our tax
dollars that's running that entire country.
Netanyahu just said in that clip you showed,
Cenk, that uh X and TikTok were the most important
purchases, right? They understand how important
[00:12:39]
it is to control people's minds. And I know
that sounds dramatic, but it really is. You
have to win this thought war that is happening
in order to win whatever other war you're trying
to fight. And again, this is all coming from
a foreign government as much as the Israeli
government is still considered foreign, even
though again, they're running off of our tax
[00:12:58]
dollars. But what I do like about this story,
I just want to go to break on a positive note
is that they are doing the absolute most to
control the narrative to get it in their favor.
But it's not working. It is completely getting
away from them. The Americans for the first
[00:13:14]
time in a long time, if ever, support the Palestinians
more than they support the Israelis. And that
is incredible. And a lot of that has to do with
the fact that despite all their efforts, all
their bots, all of their blocking, whatever
they're doing, shadow banning over on TikTok
[00:13:29]
and Instagram and on X, people can see what's
happening over there, right? There are enough
resources out there. There are not enough journalists
out there. are willing to tell the real story.
And once those real stories do get out, it's
very hard to deny the reality of the situation.
[00:13:46]
So and it's one of those things too that once
the wool is pulled from people's eyes and they're
like, it's very, very hard. It's going to be
very hard for Israel to win back some of the
support that it's lost if any of it is possible.
Yeah, last things in Easter egg that was in
there. Their consultants must have told them
uh when you call people anti Semites, it doesn't
[00:14:05]
pull well. Every time you say anti-Semite,
you create 10 new anti-Semites, right? So
uh they're trying so hard not to say anti-Semite,
and in the middle of that, he's like, Jew
haters, that's not any better, man. That's
way worse. Yeah, no, no, the problem isn't
[00:14:25]
that Israel has done a vicious genocide and
killed 23,000 children and invading Lebanon
and Iran and getting us dragged into wars. That's
not the problem at all. The problem is all
Americans are Jew haters. Keep going, Ben, keep
going. I appreciate the confessions. I appreciate
[00:14:41]
you alienating 80 % of Americans. Good luck
with that. uh
