You’ll NEVER Believe How Trump Feels About Pro-Choice Melania!
Former First Lady Melania Trump's book Melania reveals her pro-choice stance, right before the 2024 election.
- 18 minutes
Melania.
You also write about abortion in the book.
You write that you are staunchly
for a woman's right to choose.
You are pro-choice.
You write, it is imperative to guarantee
that women have autonomy in deciding
their preference and having children
based on their own convictions, free from
[00:00:16]
intervention or pressure from government.
Had you spoken to President Trump about
that before you wrote that in the book?
Yes.
He knew my position and my beliefs
since the day we met.
Spousal support wouldn't expect it
in the Trump marriage.
[00:00:32]
But according to Melania Trump,
she was given permission to put out the
statements that she did in her book,
which is set to come out tomorrow.
In regard to keeping
reproductive rights legal in America,
something that her husband
played a big role in overturning
[00:00:51]
with the appointment of three conservative
Supreme Court justices who then, you know,
obviously overturned Roe v Wade.
Now, Bartiromo press Melania
on the timing of the book's release, but
to Melania's credit, she didn't falter and
actually stood her ground on the matter.
[00:01:09]
I believe in individual freedom.
I want to decide
what I want to do with my body.
I think I don't want government
in my personal business.
[00:01:24]
It was interesting that you wrote
this in the book
right before a presidential election.
Well, that was not written
in the last week or the last month.
These are your convictions.
Correct.
But that that book was written months
[00:01:40]
before, and it was in print months before.
And I wanted to put it in the book
because I want to be authentic.
I want people to, to read the book
because they could find out a lot
of things that were never discussed.
[00:02:01]
I'm very selective.
What I do and when I'm doing interviews
or not, or where I am or not.
And, this is my story.
This is my perspective and the truth.
I don't know what's happening right now.
Like, I don't know what to make of this.
[00:02:18]
I want to take what she's saying
at face value.
I genuinely do.
But knowing what the atmosphere is like
during an election season and knowing how,
like if you're a Democrat,
for instance, or you're a Democrat who's
in media, I mean,
[00:02:37]
we know from personal experience, right?
If you say anything critical
about the Democratic nominee,
oh, the party reigns terror on you.
They accuse you of being a far right
winger, of wanting to sabotage
the Democrats, all sorts of allegations.
[00:02:52]
Allegations. Allegations.
Like, I find it so hard to believe
that Trump and the Republicans are like,
oh yeah, former first lady,
Donald Trump's wife totally disagrees
with him on this policy that he's actually
suffering political consequences for.
[00:03:08]
And it's totally fine. We're okay with it.
Trump is okay with it.
Everyone's okay with it.
It's amazing.
- I have a.
- Theory.
It's not a complicated one.
She's a honey badger. She doesn't care.
I kind of like that. Yeah.
So she look, she says, well,
I didn't write this stuff a week ago.
[00:03:23]
Yeah.
You wrote it several months ago
so that it could be released
right before the election.
It's not like you didn't know the timing.
Like sometimes it happens.
Sara told me about one time.
It took him, like, two years
to write a book or something.
It took me four years to write a book.
I thought it was going to come out
during a completely different election.
[00:03:39]
- The process is terrible.
- Yeah.
ET cetera.
But in her case, no,
they knew that it was going to come out
a month before the election.
They timed it that way so that it
would sell the most amount of books,
because that's when everybody
would be talking about the Trumps.
And so did she know that she
was going to put that in there.
[00:03:55]
And it would contradict Trump's position.
Right.
In the heat of the election, she 100% new,
and I don't think she cares at all.
She thinks I'm going to sell
as many books as I can.
She remembers she did the demanded.
There was a story about how she demanded
to do the redo the prenup in the first
[00:04:12]
term because she's like, now I got you.
I have the leverage.
You know, you don't want to get divorced
in the middle of a you being president.
So she she's been looking out
for herself the entire time.
And, you know, I don't blame her.
I mean, that looks like that's
what the marriage was for anyway.
[00:04:28]
And then Trump abused
the living crap out of her.
Not in physically,
but in terms of one affair after another.
Oh, it's a good point.
- And remember.
- The story.
You know, it's not just E Jean Carroll
that he grabbed by the genitalia
as he bragged about
on the Access Hollywood tapes.
[00:04:43]
He did that to a reporter that was
interviewing him and Melania right
after Melania while she was pregnant.
When she went upstairs,
he sexually assaulted the reporter
who was doing the interview.
And the reporter was like,
this is the grossest thing that's ever
happened on so many different levels.
[00:04:59]
- I'm going to.
- Buy your.
Book.
In solidarity. Yeah.
For Melania. Yeah.
So? So she doesn't care about Trump.
And no one can blame her for that.
I'm not sure she cared on day one,
but she definitely doesn't care now.
We've shown you countless videos
where she swats his hand away when he's
[00:05:15]
trying to hold her hand in public.
She wouldn't be.
She didn't go to the Republican
convention, except for just her speech
and attending Trump's,
and they had to negotiate with her.
She obviously hates Donald Trump
and can't stand him anymore,
so she doesn't mind contradicting him.
[00:05:31]
But she's being a team player
and they did a really good spin here
when she said, oh, he knew my position
all along and he supported me.
That's a great spin for.
He didn't know what the hell was
in the book, and I blindsided him
[00:05:46]
because I don't give a damn about him.
He's a piece of crap.
But hey, sure, let's win so I could sell
more books and then do another book
and make even more money and redo the
earlier prenup and make even more money.
So, yeah, he supports me, that's why.
But guys, this one is a fact.
That is inarguable.
[00:06:04]
Donald Trump said he didn't read her book,
and he was worried
that there was something in there
that he wasn't going to like.
He said it at a rally just two weeks ago.
It's on tape.
In fact, I want to hear more
from Trump about this issue
because Fox News's Bill Melugin
just last week talked to Trump about this,
[00:06:24]
to hear what he had to say about Melania
Trump's book and all of that.
So let's let's take a look at that.
We spoke about it and I said,
you have to write what you believe.
I'm not going to tell you what to do.
You have to write what you believe.
She's very beloved.
[00:06:40]
People love our former first lady,
I can tell you that.
But I said you have
to stick with your heart.
I've said that to everybody.
You have to go with your heart.
There are some people that are very,
very far right on the issue,
meaning without exceptions.
And then there are other people that view
it a little bit differently than that.
[00:06:59]
Okay.
So look, I don't think Donald Trump
personally is against abortion.
I think he saw this as a political
opportunity to appeal to evangelical
voters and decided to pursue a policy
that has actually been a massive political
[00:07:15]
liability for the Republican Party.
Remember, he had previously said
that he was going to vote in favor
of Florida's ballot initiative that would
essentially set the reproductive rights
back to the ROE standard in the state.
[00:07:30]
Currently, they have a six
week abortion ban,
which is effectively just an abortion ban.
But yeah, I just there's your
personal views,
and then there's what these politicians do
to accumulate power and get elected.
And so I think that it's very likely
that Donald Trump actually agrees
[00:07:48]
with Melania Trump on this issue.
And let's also keep it real,
even in a country or even in a state
where abortion is outlawed.
If you're rich,
you're going to get your abortion.
Okay, so what really disgusts me is when
[00:08:04]
politicians pursue policies that victimize
the electorate, but they're insulated
from the consequences of those policies.
Yeah.
So look, Trump's a honey badger
in a different way.
Policy. He doesn't care.
He doesn't care at all.
[00:08:19]
There's only one set of policies
he cares about.
The ones that affect Donald J. Trump.
So if you're talking about tax cuts,
especially for pass through companies,
Trump Organization
is a pass through company.
That's a technical tax term for it.
He's like oh yeah lower that one way
lower way way lower.
[00:08:37]
Okay.
Corporate taxes are lower that's for sure.
Anything involving his own personal
business interests is the ears perk up.
He gets animated, he gets into it.
ET cetera.
Abortion.
I mean, it might have affected him
personally, I don't know.
But, you know, is he really?
[00:08:55]
I don't know what.
We don't know anything about it.
- Okay.
- We don't know for sure.
- One can speculate.
- Okay.
Look let's he I'm going
to quote Donald Trump.
Donald Trump said that surviving orgies
was his own personal Vietnam
[00:09:12]
because he could have gotten STDs
at all the different orgies he went to
instead of Vietnam.
It's disgusting.
And so that was him fighting through
whatever he was fighting through.
And however he got through those
years anyways, it's not all terrible.
Why?
- I mean, Jesus, let alone talk about.
- The orgies that you've done.
[00:09:29]
Yeah. These are bad.
I mean, look,
I'm not I'm judging a little bit.
I just. Well.
Especially an orgy
with Donald Trump in it.
Jesus Christ.
Okay.
Anyways, so look back to important stuff.
So whatever his personal views
on abortion, a I don't care.
[00:09:46]
B, he doesn't care.
All he cares about is, is this going to
help the most important person on earth,
which is Donald J. Trump or is it not?
Oh, these evangelical voters.
I've never read the Bible.
I don't know what the hell is in it.
Every time I ask, I'm asked about it.
I'm like, I don't know, Old Testament.
New Testament isn't the same thing.
He knows nothing, right?
[00:10:03]
He's like, but these suckers can help me.
And so I will tell these suckers,
oh, I am pro-life.
I care so much about that zygote.
I mean, fetus, I mean baby
or whatever you guys are calling it.
I saw it in Corinthians 2.0,
and you know, he doesn't know anything.
[00:10:18]
He just wants the goddamn votes, right?
So that's why he was like,
and then he was bragging in 2020.
Ha ha ha.
I got rid of Roe v Wade
or or that he appointed the justices.
And then when they actually
got rid of it later, he was bragging about
how he got rid of it then.
So now that it's costing him in
this election, all of a sudden he's like,
[00:10:35]
oh, no, no, no, I'm not in the extremes.
I mean, this guy, you got
to have abortion at some point took place.
Of course, six weeks, 15 weeks
could be 50. I'm not going to veto.
I'm going to I'm not telling you
whether I'm going to veto a national ban.
I might veto a national ban.
I don't know how I'm probably going
to vote in Florida for the one that says
[00:10:51]
it shouldn't be six weeks.
You know, you got you got
to have more weeks.
Why? Because he doesn't care.
He just wants the maximum number of votes
so he can get his stinking tax cuts,
and Jared Kushner can get
another $2 billion from the Saudis.
Let's dispel the notion
that he gives a damn about Jared Kushner.
[00:11:08]
No, no.
As long as that money flows
to the Trump family, of course.
Yeah. Comment from a viewer.
Sweet, innocent Jake thinking Trump
has never paid for an abortion.
- I would bet all my money on that.
- Yeah.
Look, I. I don't know, honestly,
that that was uncharacteristic of you
[00:11:27]
to give Trump the benefit of the doubt
on this issue of all issues, to give him
the benefit of the doubt on this one.
No. Look, I hear you guys,
but I'm being literal.
Like, so if you suggested to a Republican
that Donald Trump might have paid
for an abortion at some point in his life,
and we don't know,
[00:11:42]
he would say outrageous, how dare you?
How Donald Trump is pro-life.
He would have protected
that zygote with his life.
Give me an I dare you. Come on.
- Now is the time.
- I dare you.
I don't know, but anyways.
But if you told the Democrat.
[00:11:59]
Hey, do you think that Donald Trump might
have paid for an abortion in his life?
My guess is a lot of Democrats
would say definitely, I'm positive of it.
But I'm telling you, we don't know.
We don't know.
We don't know.
We don't have information
neither direction.
If I had to wager, I would wager
in a certain direction, given his history.
[00:12:17]
But as as it turns out, for now,
we don't have any information
on that Ferris show in America.
All right, last thing is, look, there's
nothing they could do about Melania.
So, God, I love this.
And she's the only person in the world
that there's nothing they could do about.
Like, even if it was one of the kids,
they just throw them overboard.
[00:12:34]
They'd be like, yeah, Eric's an idiot.
We always knew he was an idiot, right?
And so, like, I mean,
Trump even says in the speeches, sometimes
you get disappointed with your kids.
That's okay. That's normal.
Okay.
My God, by the way, if you think, come on,
she's got to be making some of this up.
[00:12:50]
So the part where he said
I didn't read her book.
- Yeah, we.
- Have that video.
Actually. Let's go to clip five.
So I said to our great first lady
who can draw a crowd,
did you watch me tonight on television?
First lady?
People love our first lady, I tell you.
[00:13:08]
Right. Go out and get a book.
She just wrote a book.
I hope she said good things about.
I don't know, I didn't so busy.
She just wrote a book called Melania.
Go out and buy it.
It's great.
And if she says bad things about me,
I'll call you all
[00:13:26]
up and I'll say, don't buy it.
- Get rid of it.
- That's hilarious.
He didn't read it.
He didn't read a word of it.
He didn't even ask her,
hey, what's in the book?
Because I don't think
they're talking at all.
I mean, at a bare minimum,
you're running for president.
Your wife, the first lady, former
president, about to come out with a book,
[00:13:45]
and you don't know what's in it at all.
And you think she might have said
bad things about you, but you haven't
even asked her, or that's amazing.
Or had, like, someone
in your campaign read it for you.
And so played the clip to show you
there's no secret strategy here.
[00:14:03]
Okay. He didn't even read the book.
- He's got no.
- Interest.
They had no amazing thing.
They had no idea what was coming.
But the second reason
why I play you the clip is because it's
obvious that Melania is untouchable.
- I know because she might.
- Be the most powerful woman in the.
Country.
[00:14:18]
Well, yeah, because if anyone else, you
know, said bad things about Trump, he'd
be like, I'm very disappointed in this.
Fill in the blank.
You know, he's weak. Can't have it.
Rhino. Just hurting the country.
[00:14:35]
Hurting the country.
But when Melania does it, he's like,
oh yeah, we are very supportive of one
another and it has nothing to do with any
contracts we've signed with Prenups.
ET cetera.
And the fact that she could burn me with
the most damaging information you could
[00:14:52]
possibly imagine right before an election.
So I'm not in a hostage video.
I love my wife.
I'll let her say whatever she wants.
I'm having fun, Melania. Keep going.
This is super amusing to watch.
[00:15:08]
Melania could swing the election if she
were to share some of that information,
but then it would touch
her financial interests and God forbid.
Yeah, true.
I mean, for her, that would be a disaster.
Although I will say this, you all know
what I feel is an obligation of wealthy
[00:15:25]
people to the rest of us, right?
Other than paying their fair
share of taxes and blah, blah, blah,
all the substantive things.
If you're super rich,
you better look good.
- And she looks good.
- That's one of their moral obligations.
You had to look good
if you were super rich.
She looks great.
So I thought you were going to go
with what we normally say,
[00:15:41]
which is like, at least instead of, like,
trying to make more and take from others
and like, spending your days and nights
in, like, some greed fueled, like weirdos.
Trance, just go and enjoy your money.
Like, at least have fun with it.
[00:15:56]
I mean, she doesn't want
to be in the public eye.
She doesn't want
to go campaigning for her husband.
It seems like she is enjoying her life.
The only time it looks like
she's not enjoying her life
is when she's forced to, like, do anything
campaign related for her husband.
There's so many hostage videos
in politics, right?
[00:16:12]
So, you know, Fetterman
in a corner of a dungeon.
Like I love Israel enough.
Israel is the most moral army
in the history of the earth.
The Palestinians
deserve everything they have.
Enough. Is it enough?
Okay, then you got Melania
with these interviews.
[00:16:28]
Oh, Donald and I
have a special relationship.
You do you. Okay.
And Trump with.
I don't mind Melania criticizing me.
Right.
And Ana is Kamala Harris
in that 60 minutes interview
[00:16:44]
when they asked her about Israel.
Israel has a right to defend itself
for months and months and years and years.
And we are we love Israel and and it's
because of my love for the special ally.
[00:17:04]
Okay, good. They're all hostage videos.
You had to make it dark, but it's okay.
I forgive you.
Okay. Oh. Thank you.
Anna and I have a special relationship.
Everything she does is fine.
Although I will say, look, that isn't BS.
Like I am free to be me on this show.
[00:17:24]
Yeah, yeah. There's no.
Well, I mean,
we have a production meeting,
but there's no, like, coordination over,
like, what I'm allowed to say, you know?
Although I'm thinking about it.
No. You're gonna be thinking
about that for a long time.
Cause I ain't going for it.
[00:17:39]
- Okay, I got salsa.
- Yeah.
You know, look. Last thing.
Okay. Who's got time to, like, be like.
All right, now, I want to know
all of your opinions ahead of time.
And I want to make sure
that they match mine.
By the way, if that's if that's.
[00:17:56]
And by the way,
that I know that is the opinion of.
Every television producer
in mainstream media.
And I was going to say every executive
who hired those producers
to make sure everyone had
the same exact ideas as they do.
True. Right.
For me, I'm like, well,
if she has the same exact ideas as I do.
[00:18:13]
Boring.
Then what's the point?
Why don't I just say them?
- Yeah.
- Why would you need me?
Like.
- Yeah.
- Why do I need somebody else to say that?
It's fun and interesting and different
when people have genuine opinions,
authentic opinions
and we agree and disagree, etc..
As long as we're all going
in the same general direction
[00:18:30]
of being good to people and trying to make
a little bit of difference in the world.
