Miss United States Files RESTRAINING ORDER Against Rep. Cory Mills
Republican Rep. Cory Mills is accused of harassing former girlfriend Lindsey Langston.
- 9 minutes
Embattled Republican Congressman
Cory Mills is in the hot seat once again,
this time for allegedly extorting
an ex-girlfriend
and even threatening to release
nude videos of her against her will.
So Mills is denying these claims.
[00:00:16]
But with that said, here's what's
being reported by drop site News.
Lindsay Langston,
a Florida Republican state committeewoman
and the reigning Miss United States,
has filed a restraining order
against Florida Republican Representative
[00:00:32]
Cory Mills after reporting him to local
and state law enforcement for harassment,
threatening to release sexual videos
and to harm future boyfriends.
Great that this guy has any
power at all in our government.
But anyway, Langston says that she
and Mills actually began dating
[00:00:52]
in November of 2021 and that she moved
in with him last summer.
So things were going well
until something happened.
Then she broke up with him
back in February
when she saw in national news reports
that he actually had a second girlfriend?
[00:01:08]
Can you imagine that finding out
that your significant other
is cheating on you in press reports?
Okay, so that woman. Sarah.
Ravi.
Ravi had reported Mills to police as well
for allegedly assaulting her
at their Washington, D.C.
[00:01:23]
Condo,
but she later recanted those allegations.
Mills is also still technically
married to his wife,
who he claims he separated from in 2022.
Real winner here.
Remember when Republicans, like, pretended
to be the party of family values?
[00:01:41]
Family values. Family values.
So Langston told police
that Mills confronted or I'm sorry,
continued to harass her for months
after they broke up, despite her request
to just, like, leave me alone.
Leave me alone.
We've broken up. It's over.
[00:01:58]
As part of a police report
she made on July 14th,
she provided local and state investigators
with time stamped digital evidence
to support her claim that
Cory Mills repeatedly threatened
to send videos of them engaging
in sexual acts to her future partners.
[00:02:16]
Basically, I'm going to ruin your life
because you broke up with me
after you found out I'm cheating on you.
By the way, I'm also still married.
Anthony Sabatini, Langston's attorney
who also challenged Mills for Congress
in 2022, published some of those texts in
[00:02:32]
which you see Mills threatening Langston.
So let's take a look at that.
In one of them, he says to her, I'm sorry
to see this is how you treat things.
Good luck to you.
Thanks again for the videos.
She says, haven't you hurt me enough?
Please leave me alone.
[00:02:48]
Okay, Lins, get me his number
and I can send him videos.
Take care. What a week.
Here's another one.
Let him put his actions behind his mouth.
I can send him
a few videos of you as well.
Oh, I still have them.
[00:03:04]
- Is this normal male behavior, Jake?
- No, it is not.
You know.
Look, at some point,
folks on the left came up with this phrase
called toxic masculinity.
I don't love that phrase.
We had a better phrase for it back in the
day for guys who beat up their girlfriends
[00:03:22]
and, who are dirtbags in general.
The phrase was us douchebag.
That's another one.
Yeah.
So, and we all understand
that it doesn't take a right winger
or a left winger to understand
that this guy is a terrible person.
[00:03:39]
And in fact, as you're going to see,
several ex-girlfriends
have described him as a psychopath.
Yeah.
Which actually, now, come to think of it,
makes sense because he's a US congressman,
and most of those psychopaths
do anything for donor money.
So this guy's a armed former arms dealer
who owes tens of millions of dollars
[00:04:00]
and is described by several ex-girlfriends
as a psychopath.
Well, he's perfect for Congress.
So he continued to contact her
after she begged him to leave her alone.
She even blocked his phone number
and social media accounts.
She says that at one point, she
even received a call from a generic U.S.
[00:04:19]
Capitol number.
Super creepy.
Langston says of the harassment.
The threats from Corey intensified over
time, from emotional manipulation
to physical violence against whoever I
date in the future to threats of having me
stripped of the Miss United States crown,
[00:04:34]
something I worked extremely hard for and
a dream that was placed in my heart long
before I even knew who Corey Mills was.
By the way, to Jake's point,
other exes have weighed in on this
and have had similar stories to tell about
Mills and confirmed that he is unstable,
[00:04:54]
frightening, and a constant liar.
He's a legit psychopath.
One ex told drop site, adding that the
ease with which Mills lies, manipulates
and veils his threats still frightens her.
Another former romantic partner
also independently described Mills as a
[00:05:11]
psychopath, and Mills claims that this is
all a politically motivated attack.
Of course it is, right?
You have multiple people that he's dated
coming out with similar accusations.
But his behavior when Dropsite
sent him a request for comment was,
[00:05:29]
suspicious, to say the least,
before he replied to Dropsite.
Mills called Langston from his number,
then sent several text messages asking her
to take back her allegations, saying, only
you can stop this and I understand you.
[00:05:47]
Your mom is going through
a lot of mental health issues.
So her allegations have been sent
to the Florida Department
of Law Enforcement for review.
There are other allegations
against Mills as well.
For instance, Mills, a former arms dealer,
has a long history
[00:06:03]
of very sketchy behavior.
Earlier this year,
the Office of Congressional Conduct
referred him to the House Ethics Committee
for investigation after finding he
likely violated federal ethics contracting
and campaign finance laws.
In July, for instance,
Mills and the weapons company
[00:06:21]
he founded a decade ago, Pacem,
were notified that their foreign creditors
were moving to liquidate tens of millions
of dollars in unpaid foreign debt that
Mills has never disclosed to Congress,
despite his personal liability.
[00:06:37]
Days later, Mills D.C.
Landlord filed a lawsuit to evict him
after he failed to pay four
straight months of $20,000 of rent.
Okay, so it doesn't end with this guy.
Later in the story, you should check out
the drop site news story on it.
[00:06:54]
Guys?
Come to dinner and meals
and give him, like, a sack full of cash
that he said was $100,000
while he says he can't pay his rent.
Okay.
I mean, sketchy as all hell.
But the kicker is this.
So there's a bill called take it Down act.
[00:07:12]
And it was to make sure that to make it
a federal crime to publish or threaten
to publish intimate material quote for
the purposes of intimidation, coercion,
extortion, or to create mental distress.
Mills voted for that.
[00:07:28]
And then Trump on May 19th
signed Take it Down act into law.
On that same day, Mills sent a message
to this woman saying, I can send him
a few video of videos of you as well.
[00:07:44]
I still have them.
So he literally did the federal crime
that he voted for
and got signed into law that day.
Okay.
Now, of course, he's not being pursued
for that because the people in power
[00:07:59]
can get away with any crime.
Well, there's no laws left
for the powerful in America.
He'd have to send it, or there have to be
evidence of him actually carrying it out.
- Right.
- Yeah.
Executed?
No, no. But threatening it.
From what I understand,
is also part of the.
Oh, okay. Okay.
Yeah.
[00:08:14]
And he threatened it on that day
as Trump is signing it.
It's unreal.
But it's not rare to see politicians act
this way
because they think they're above the law.
Yeah. And these days they are.
Yeah.
I mean, look, if he had slept with
underage children with Epstein right now,
[00:08:32]
the federal government
would be protecting him.
Right.
So, yeah, the rich and powerful
are above the law.
And then they wonder
why the American people are in a rage.
They're like, well, everybody
in power is like, I don't get it.
We're super rich in the stock market's up
and we're all above the law.
[00:08:47]
Everything's great.
I don't know why anybody's angry.
Well, I don't know why anybody
would want to change the status quo.
Yeah. Because we're not you.
We. We didn't cheat.
We don't have this power
that we lord over other people.
And used to, by the way,
the woman that he's, threatening here
[00:09:03]
that's seeking the restraining order.
Also a Republican,
a Republican politician, legislator.
Right.
So they don't care. They don't care.
Republican. Democrat.
They don't care about you guys at all.
Right.
They only care about
protecting the powerful.
Yep. I'm sick of it.
