Jesse Watters Describes What He'd Do If His Wife Voted For Kamala

Fox News' Jesse Watters said that his wife voting for Vice President Kamala Harris is "the same thing as having an affair."
  • 4 minutes
If I found out Emma was going into the voting booth and pulling the lever for Harris, that's the same thing as having an affair. That to me. Oh my God. Let him finish. You're go. Jesse. This violates the sanctity of our marriage. [00:00:18] - Yes. - What else is she keeping from me? Exactly. What else has she been lying about? Why would she lie? Credits. - Jesse threatened. - Her. - Why would she lie to you? - Oh, they want me to tease. Why would she do that? And then vote Harris? Why would she say she was voting for Trump. [00:00:34] - And. - Then voting Harris? And I caught her. And then she said, I lied to you for the last four years. - You were intimidated. - It's over. Emma. That would be D-Day. I really think it's important for his wife to call his bluff on this. [00:00:49] And so she should do both and see which one makes him feel worse. - The affair. - Oh my God. Or voting? Voting for Kamala Harris. I thought you were just talking about the vote. I mean, he knows a thing or two about Affairs. [00:01:05] What? Did I say something wrong? I'm just saying to the producers of the five. Check your tires. You might be on the prowl with a switchblade. Anyway. Yeah, I. Yeah, he's he's joking. And I get the joke. The joke is that he should largely determine who his wife votes for. [00:01:24] Because, you know, because he's the man and he controls everything a woman does. And it's a joke, and ha ha ha. I'm just so sick of literally all of it. I'm sick of these pathetic, broken men. I am curious, though. I mean, obviously you are a wonderful progressive, like you're the real deal. [00:01:40] You're not one of these phonies. And, what would you do if you found out that your wife, you know, went in a different direction during this election cycle? I mean, I literally cannot imagine it, but if you found out that she voted [00:01:56] for Trump, I. Would be more surprised than if I had found out I voted for Trump. It would never, ever happen. And I would you I mean, you know, your partner, you know their values. Like it should not be a mystery who almost anyone is voting for. You cannot come to the conclusion of voting picking between these two people [00:02:16] without it being abundantly clear with virtually everything you say and do in your life. Yeah, I think the bigger issue in this hypothetical he's sketching out would be that she would feel she needs to lie to him about it. Right. Which, as Jeanine Pirro alludes to, hardly says anything good [00:02:31] about the relationship. Now, obviously all of this is a joke to them, but I have no doubt that there are a lot of women in that actual situation. I'm just amused at the notion that the men are controlling how their wives vote. Right. Like, and it seems to be a widespread belief because in a speech [00:02:51] that Michelle Obama gave recently, she was like telling women like, you know, who you vote for is private. You don't have to share it with your husband. Vote for who you're you know you're comfortable with. We all know that. We all know, like we all, all women know, that we can vote for who we actually want to vote for. Some people may not know that it is not possible to discover [00:03:09] who someone voted for. That's a good point. Okay. Fair enough, fair enough. But yeah, I'm going to vote for who I want to vote for, and my husband's going to vote for who he wants to vote for. But like the notion that my my favorite theory about who I am and what I believe is that since I married a Cuban man, well, he's Cuban, so by definition [00:03:29] he must be a right winger. And so he is brainwashing me and I'm now right wing. If you've never met Christian. Shut your mouth. Okay. He's like the most. I don't even know how to describe it. Like he was apolitical when we met. [00:03:46] Did not care about politics. Politics didn't pay any attention. But he is, like one of the most loving. Like, I don't know, he's more hippie dippy than anyone I've ever met. So, like the idea that he's brainwashed me. No, there's no brainwashing happening in our household. [00:04:01] Okay. But anyway, this is a thing. You know, you have this whole idea, especially among those on the right, that women are liberal until they get married, and then their husbands convince them to be more conservative. Apparently by threats, I guess. Yeah. [00:04:17] Yeah. What a what a sad what a sad hypothetical to come up for yourself is that you'd be able to threaten your wife into opposing her interests. Such a such a strange way that they all live. All the alternative, I guess, would be that you could not utterly repulse women. [00:04:34] And that that's not just targeted at Jesse Watters. I mean, the Republicans in general. You could make yourself less of a grotesque option for them. - Yeah. - All right.
