White House Chaos ERUPTS As Trump's Mass Pardon Plan Goes Public

White House division erupts with some officials raising their concerns of Donald Trump giving out more controversial pardons before the midterm elections while a new plan for Trump to issue 250 pardons for the nation's 250th birthday sparks suspicions of a Ghislaine Maxwell pardon. John Iadarola and Jackson White break it down on The Damage Report. Leave a comment with your thoughts below!

Ghislaine Maxwell has been arrested on allegations of child sex trafficking. Why would you wish such a person well? don't know that. She's now in jail. Yeah, I wish you well. I'd wish you well. I'd wish a lot of people well. I haven't really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly. Have you ruled out a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell? I haven't even thought [00:00:19] about it. I mean, I haven't thought about it for months. Maybe I haven't thought about it at all. You just asked me a question, but I don't talk about that. I don't rule it in or out. don't even think about it. I don't even think about it. I think about it as little as I think about your piddly little financial concerns, American people. But I don't believe [00:00:39] him. I don't believe him at all. I think that he does think about Ghislaine Maxwell. I think he has very positive and warm thoughts, memories of the times they've spent together, the lives they've ruined. And I do think that he is going to pardon Ghislaine Maxwell. I don't think he sent Todd Blanch down to personally negotiate with her in private for nothing. I don't think [00:01:00] that following that, she was gifted a cushy position and a nice little resort prison for nothing. I think it was given to her based on the assurances she provided to Donald Trump's personal lawyer, who is now, I'll remind you, the acting Attorney General of the United States. And I think he is definitely going to partner. And I think I even know when he's [00:01:19] going to partner. Because he's now talking about, it's going to be America's 250th anniversary. I got to get something for America. It's a big one, so it's got to be something big. More pardons, I'm going to do more pardons. In fact, I'm going to do 250 pardons to mark the 250th [00:01:37] birthday because of reasons, I guess. And yeah, here's the thing. You could- Like Mark the 250th in a way that hearkens back to the best in America. If you were to track down 250 people that were wrongly convicted of their crimes, and you were to pardon them and maybe compensate [00:01:56] for the time that they wrongly spent in prison, obviously he's not going to do that. We know exactly what the pardon power is used for under Donald Trump. It's for pardoning people who try to overturn the results of elections, those who try to murder cops, uh kid diddlers, and frauds and con men. There are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of those examples. [00:02:13] And now there's going to be 250. And look, when this happens, because he'll do this, we'll talk about the fact that he tracked down a whole bunch of millionaires and billionaires who screwed people like you over, stole your life savings, scam artist comment, all that. But there's going to be so much dust kicked up, you don't think he's going to try to sneak [00:02:32] through a few things even crazier than that? You don't think he's maybe hoping that if Ghislaine Maxwell is just one of 250, care as much and after all it's my birthday. You can't get on my back when I do something on my birthday. Now maybe I'm wrong. Maybe this will be yet [00:02:49] another terrible John Adderall prediction. I hope so, but I think we're getting closer and closer to it. And some in the White House evidently have raised concerns about doing too many more pardons before the midterm elections. But honestly, why would Donald Trump be concerned about that? [00:03:04] We've done everything we can here to get people to care about the pardons he's already done. And I- I am not so arrogant to think that it's had any effect whatsoever. I don't think most, now look at the American people hate Donald Trump. His polls are down. I don't even think it's because of the pardons. I think he could do this and will do this day after day after [00:03:22] day, knowing it's not gonna make any effect whatsoever on his numbers. And I'm not even at this point confident that Ghislaine being pardoned would actually matter. It matters to me. I hope it matters to you. What do you think, Jackson? Yeah, I think that Trump, I mean, maybe- his approval will go down some more. But I think for the most part, he's probably [00:03:41] bottomed out. I mean, I don't know, George Bush, was his approval, like 23 % or something along those lines when he left office? Trump's approval might not get that low uh because there's still so many people who are just in it for the personality cult. We'll see, but [00:03:58] I agree. don't think that pardoning, mean, if everything thus far about Trump's involvement with Epstein, all the just unbelievably sinister things that we discovered and found out. If that wasn't enough, why would pardoning Ghislaine make a further dent? So I agree, I don't think [00:04:18] that that's really gonna make much of a difference. If and when he does pardon her, it absolutely won't be a surprise because just his pattern of behavior. But it's also kind of silly because we already know what Donald Trump has been involved with with Epstein. So what What does [00:04:37] she really have to threaten him with at this point? But I don't know, this is the mind of Donald Trump, someone who fundamentally cannot take accountability for himself at all. So it's just par for the course. It's hard to know what's going on with his mind. [00:04:56] have to see. See, mean with our eyes, not the Yes, yes. Everybody thinks I mean the ocean. Now I'm talking about eyes.
