Donald Trump is obviously trying to get everything
he can out of the incident that happened at
the Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday. His
second biggest priority perhaps is ballroom.
Of course he wants ballroom, gotta have ballroom.
But today at least, ballroom takes a back
[00:00:17]
seat to Jimmy Kimmel. Because, boy, does Donald
Trump- hate Jimmy Kimmel. He hates Jimmy Kimmel
more than he hates Stephen Colbert and SNL
combined in one. There's just something about
that guy he doesn't like. And so he's trying
to get him fired. And now the government is
[00:00:33]
literally getting involved. So we'll talk about
that. But first here is the president's mouthpiece,
who is attempting to pretend that she was shocked
and chagrined by what this jokester said on
his show. As the first lady of the United States
pointed out this morning, two days prior to
the shooting, ABC's late night host Jimmy Kimmel
disgustingly called first lady Melania Trump
[00:00:53]
an expectant widow. Who in their right minds
says a wife would be glowing over the potential
murder of her beloved husband? This kind of
rhetoric about the president, the first lady
and his supporters is completely deranged and
it's unbelievable that the American people
[00:01:08]
are consuming it night after night after night.
Although as we'll get to with Donald Trump,
he says they're not consuming it. So I really
don't see what the problem is if nobody's watching
it anyway. Now, she right there, look, I'm
going too hard on her because she's obviously
[00:01:24]
very, very triggered by this joke. She just
can't, I can't take it. It was a joke and
I don't like it. Why is there jokes? Why is
there comedy? Why is it allowed that a person
would tell a joke that's not made for me? I
want comedy for me. And not just her, a lot
[00:01:42]
of people on the right are very, very triggered.
Now, if we just pause for a minute, let's
let them get a blow dryer, dry off their pants
because they peed themselves. Comedy is just
such an assault on the senses and the sanity.
She was also by the way lying though, because
she said that he said she was an expectant widow.
He did not say that. I'll say it, but he did
[00:02:03]
not say he said that she had the glow of an
expectant widow. That's poetry, okay, as well
as comedy. He also said that she would be
delighted because her husband was murdered,
which is not at all what he said. That's not,
you're only saying that after what happened
[00:02:21]
in the shooting, but that's not how the timeline
works. He's not saying that she's happy that
he will be murdered. He's implying she will
be happy if he dies under any circumstances,
which is objectively the truth. Come on, Carolyn
Leavitt. You won't be happier. You think Melania
[00:02:39]
won't be happier. You think the vast majority
of America won't be happier when this guy finally
passes. I'm not saying he should be shot. I
don't like political violence. I'm one of the
few people to me that still doesn't. But if
it's like a McNugget or something, you're telling
me that Melania's day isn't going to improve,
come on. And even if you don't believe that,
[00:02:55]
even if you think that I'm being extreme or
whatever, he's a comedian, okay? He gets to
make jokes. And I know that you guys know that.
Because you guys have been shrilly shrieking
about that for years and years as every single
right wing comedian puts out yet another special
[00:03:12]
called triggered on Netflix. Starts up yet
another podcast about how you just can't joke
about anything anymore. Evidently, I guess
they were on to something because now the regime
is coming for Jimmy Kimmel. And we're gonna
talk more about right wingers sort of complaining
about it. I wanna be clear, that's not where
we're at on this story anymore. Now the FCC
[00:03:31]
is apparently going to be reviewing Disney's
broadcast license in response. Disney, like
all of Disney, the whole Disney. And the reason
for that obviously is they want Disney to be
like, oh God, now here we go again. Fine, we'll
get rid of Jimmy Kimmel so that the fascists
[00:03:51]
in the White House don't- Either literally take
away our broadcast license, it costs us billions
of dollars a day. Or just create such a hassle
that we need to deploy literally dozens, hundreds
of lawyers. And this by the way, if you're
actually concerned about free speech is a bigger
assault on free speech than literally anything
that happened in America during the four years
[00:04:10]
that Joe Biden was president. And we'll have
more, but Jackson, what do you think? Why
is the White House addressing Jimmy Kimmel at
all in the first place? Because even if you
take Jimmy Kimmel out of the equation, there's
still like 80 % of the media makes fun of Donald
[00:04:28]
Trump. So, and then if you go outside of the
media, you have hundreds of millions of people
around the world who make fun of him. So I mean,
why are you talking about this? I was just
in Los Angeles, gas is like $7 a gallon. Back
here in Missouri now, it's just about $4 a
[00:04:44]
gallon. Pretty much everywhere you go, you're
dealing with that. We have an economy, a job
market that's been at a standstill for quite
some time now. We have this situation in Iran
where there's really who knows when it's going
to come to an end, nobody knows. There's all
[00:05:00]
this stuff going on and Caroline Leavitt's like,
Jimmy Kimmel. And then Donald Trump wakes up
at 4 a.m. and he's like, I'm going to destroy
an entire civilization. It's just, what are
we really talking about? What's worse, Jimmy
Kimmel? or a guy who literally can press the
[00:05:17]
big red button. But this is just more the same
old BS from Donald Trump, just consumed with
what people are saying about him. Yeah, mean,
not only has he actually killed lots and
lots of people, not only has he made many actual
widows. Okay, well, let's not talk about actions,
[00:05:37]
let's about speech. uh Have you seen the stuff
that he said about people who've died recently,
the statements that he puts out? So he can say
that totally seriously. He's not a joke. He's
not joking around. He's just saying absolutely
appalling things about people who've literally
just died. But Jimmy Kimmel should probably
be fired. Yeah, he should be fired. Anyway,
[00:05:53]
by the way, we're just really fast. Jimmy Kimmel's
ratings are actually up 20 % year over year
in total viewers. So that's that's funny. By
the way, I don't even watch Jimmy Kimmel. I
don't generally watch those late night shows,
but he has an audience. And you know why?
Because he says some funny stuff. Here's another
joke that he said at that event. He skewered
[00:06:11]
Stephen Miller saying, Stephen Miller is so
racist, the reason he went bald is because
his hair was black. He goes on to add, he's
like if baby Hitler traveled in time to kill
us, which is funny. I've never heard that reversed
in that way. And I hope that it hurts Stephen
Miller's feelings. But don't worry, Stephen,
if there are any more jokes coming your way,
[00:06:30]
you can just hide behind your wife. Anyway,
with that said, let's talk about some other
stuff. Should Disney be fired for my joke right
there? Don't forget, Noble Mobile saving you
a ton of money. So a lot of people are signing
up now and beginning to realize, what the
[00:06:47]
hell? Why am I paying so much of Verizon and
AT &T? So your bill's only $50 a month, but
it can actually be less because they give you
money back if you don't use your data. So if
you're paying more than $50, there's no reason
to not switch. It's crazy not to switch because
same phone, same number, same contacts, literally
nothing changes. tyt.com slash switch, tyt.com
[00:07:06]
slash switch. All right, we'll be right back.
