Right-Wingers TURN On Trump As Staged Shooting Conspiracies Erupt
Right-wingers leave Donald Trump out to dry as they add credit to staged shooting conspiracies and theories that the shooting is being used as a coordinated effort to push through congressional funding for Trump's ballroom. John Iadarola and Jackson White break it down on The Damage Report. Leave a comment with your thoughts below!

the situation with the Correspondence Dinner
was going on. There was a lot of concern that
there was suspicious stuff about it and wasn't
it convenient that once again somebody's coming
for Donald Trump. So look, there's a lot of
people throwing out a lot of either baseless
or tenuous ties to various conspiracy theories.
And I wanna turn now to Alex Jones, who is
[00:00:20]
America's expert on conspiracy theories to talk
about this. I don't know this manifesto came
from this guy. I mean, at this point, could
be staged. But I mean, what does that mean?
How was it staged? What was the plan to make
Trump look like a victim? Why did Trump just
[00:00:39]
keep sitting there and they grab JD Vance and
drag him off and then Trump just sits there?
And Trump does look anticipatory right before
it happens. When the magician is trying to
show him the card and do all that, he's like,
I don't know anymore. I just don't know. I
[00:00:57]
just know this. I am not going to come on air
because it's popular and just say something
at stage before I know it, I mean, you kind
of did that right there. That's kind of what
you did. You laid out some evidence, compelling
evidence. I didn't know that Donald Trump did
[00:01:14]
a rat face. ah And I don't like the idea of
Donald Trump looking anticipatory. Don't say
that, please. I'm sorry. But anyway, there's
a lot of weird stuff. Now that doesn't mean
that it was staged. People often throw accusations
of conspiracy without thinking about how much
[00:01:33]
would go into it. So did all the Secret Service
know? Did the entire administration know?
This administration leaks so much that just
has so many potential holes in it. And a lot
of people were like, Well, this guy's probably
Israeli, right? Cuz he had that picture, which
[00:01:49]
I don't even know if it's been confirmed of
him with a sweatshirt with the IDF symbol.
But what's the theory? That Israel wants to
take out Trump, who's fighting all their wars
for them. And the way that they do it is they
ship some dude from torrents across the country
and have him bum rush a security checkpoint
or whatever. I've seen the IDF when they want
[00:02:08]
to take people out. They're a little bit more
sophisticated than that. So look, that doesn't
mean that- It's weird to think that there was
some suspicious stuff. It is a little bit
suspicious and Donald Trump is definitely trying
to use it for his own purposes. But in any
event, let's get to a little bit more of the
right wingers who have some suspicions. Let's
[00:02:26]
go to here to Ashley St. Clair. Last week,
I told you guys that all of MAGA is paid and
they coordinate their messaging in lockstep
via group chats. And what do know, all of
these people came to the conclusion. that after
they saw what happened at the White House Correspondents
[00:02:44]
Dinner, their first thought was all, independently,
Trump needs his ballroom. The statistical
likelihood of this happening in a vacuum, if
we are to stipulate that these people are not
coordinated, the statistical likelihood of this
happening that they all came to the same conclusion,
[00:03:03]
not probable, okay? I think it's also important
to note that one of the main group chats in
which they coordinate this messaging is literally
called fight, fight, fight after the attempt
on Trump's life in Butler. That's a pretty good
point. That's a pretty good point. This stuff
[00:03:24]
about statistical significance, I don't think
had anything to do with what she was saying.
But anyway, but yeah, first of all, there's
an alternative explanation, which is that some
of them started to do it. Others saw that there
was pickup and they desperately wanted the
clicks in the retweets, so they started doing
it too. But I even think that's it. I think
she's right. I think it's coordinated. And that
doesn't mean it's pre-coordinated. That doesn't
[00:03:41]
mean that that's why they did it or whatever.
But it definitely was coordinated. And we
will get to the ballroom and all of that. But
Jackson, I'm just curious your thoughts about,
did you immediately or do you now think that
it was suspicious? Where do you come down on
all that? Well, for me, if it wasn't some
type of conspiracy like some false flag to
[00:04:04]
boost his- his ratings that he's so fond of.
Then at worst or maybe at best, it was just
an unbelievable uh demonstration of incompetence.
If that was real, how does this guy just get
[00:04:20]
in the building? And that was part of what he
commented on about how there was barely no
security and it was really easy for him to
get through. So no matter how you look at it-
ah it reflects poorly on the White House's
competence and their ability to do anything
well at all. ah But outside of that, just think
that Donald Trump is just endlessly hilarious.
[00:04:42]
It's sad cuz you're like, people keep trying
to kill me. That's why we need my ballroom
because those two things are aligned with
each other. We need this big stupid ballroom.
when really he's just trying to leave behind
some type of legacy for himself. That's why
[00:04:58]
he's putting his name on our currency and trying
to build that giant arc. So nobody's confused
about that. But it's funny seeing Alex Jones
say that, don't wanna spread falsehoods.
That made you a millionaire many times over
spreading falsehoods. And it also- uh ended
[00:05:21]
up being your undoing. yeah, mean, even if,
I don't have enough evidence personally to
sit here and say that was staged. It looks
kind of suspicious, but again, if it wasn't
staged, then wow, what a reflection of how
much these people suck at everything. Yeah,
[00:05:38]
well, that is objectively true. Yeah, I think
that if it was staged, they'd do like another
photo shoot or something. It wouldn't be just
Donald Trump like, what's happening now? And
then like old man. gets weekend, burnied out
of the room. They all look so bad. If it's
[00:05:55]
staged, you need to do another run through because
you didn't do Yeah, Trump falling over. Yeah,
it doesn't look good. And RFK Junior's being
like, Cheryl, I can get another Cheryl. Even
Miller picking up his pregnant wife. Yeah, it
just doesn't. It's hoisting her in front of
[00:06:11]
him like, Yeah, I will briefly say, I come
down to a different, I don't think it really
was a failure of security. There was a security
perimeter and he was stopped at it. And they
took him out and nobody died. And they're right,
and they didn't kill him. Yeah, I think and
[00:06:31]
also it's not a White House event. It wouldn't
be at the ballroom anyway, even if the ballroom
existed, it wouldn't be there. And what are
you saying? The president can never again be
anywhere that isn't ballroom. He doesn't even
believe that. You think he's gonna stop showing
[00:06:47]
up at events at Mar-a-Lago? He's BSing you,
One final thing before we move on to last
bit. All the people in the media, they're like,
why would somebody wanna do this? Why? We
[00:07:02]
gotta figure out why would someone wanna do
this? First of all, don't do this. It's wrong,
don't do it. But why would someone want? You
can't come up with a potential explanation
for why someone would want to do this. You remember
when Donald Trump was putting out those memes
of him in front of Trump 2024, Trump 2028, Trump
2032, Trump 2036. I'm going be president forever,
[00:07:24]
damn the Constitution. You remember when he
did an actual coup? I'm just saying, you're
not supposed to kill people. You're not supposed
to do assassinations. You're also not supposed
to do coups. You're also not supposed to sexually
assault someone in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing
room. You're not supposed to do a lot of the
stuff that Donald Trump has done without consequences.
[00:07:42]
Flouting the Constitution, destroying the checks
and balances, you're not supposed to do all
of that stuff. Now that does not justify political
violence. But it's, I think, makes sense
that someone would look at all that's happening
and say, I guess there's no consequences for
anything. You destroyed all the norms and you
were very happy to do so. I guess the norms
[00:08:00]
are gone now. I guess we can do whatever we
want. Don't do it. But I'm just saying, I
don't think we get to be like, Why would a person
be worried about Trump? Hmm.
