My garbage person of the week is another member of Trump's inner circle that has suffered an embarrassing loss, such an embarrassing loss in the legal system. Who am I talking about? Someone who's been in there in the news this week, Laura Loomer. She loses her defamation [00:00:17] case against Bill Maher over his joke that she had sex with Donald Trump. A judge throws out the far right activist $150 million complaint. Loomers $150 million complaint against HBO star Bill Maher claimed she was, according to the reporting, subjected to unjustifiable [00:00:37] ridicule, embarrassment, loss of reputation, and professional opportunity, and was, quote, damaged financially by, quote, false malicious and defamatory jokes. Joke, I thought you [00:00:55] guys were thick skinned and I would assume Laura Loomer would have the thickest skin or else her lips would burst from all the filler. But alas, she is a snowflake. According to this report, she also claimed that Mar denied her request for a public apology and an invitation [00:01:16] on his show to quote. mitigate prior and any further damage. She seems to have wanted credit and wanted him to pay damages, it seems from the way this is characterized, for not inviting [00:01:33] her on his show to talk about a joke she's suing him over that she took offense to. Loomer also testified that the joke cost her a job at the White House, according to that same report. Yeah, maybe a blowjob at the White House. a blow job because the joke was about, excuse [00:01:56] me, I'm gonna cough. This is not the time to stop. joke was about, we'll read it to you in a second. It's about sex with the President of the United States. But honestly, maybe you lost your job at the White House because of saying stuff like this. And for some reason, [00:02:17] there's a lot of people that are really afraid of this nappy headed black bitch who just has a lot to say but not really a lot to offer. So I'm not afraid of Candace Owens and I'm to match her energy. I'm happy to wrestle in the mud with that bitch. Well, there you go. [00:02:34] Maybe that kind of ridiculous statement is why you wouldn't be offered a job at the White House cuz you were famous for that. And maybe it's just me. Wait, it's not. Now that opinion is also in the permanent judicial record because as the judgment was Trump in the White House. [00:02:55] Trump and White House Chief of Staff Suzy Wiles reportedly withdrew an offer for Loomer to join his campaign in April 23 after aides feared that quote, her long history of bigoted remarks would set off a backlash. It is in the record that everybody thought you were unemployable [00:03:17] because of the terrible bigoted stuff you say. What was this horrible joke that it was at the center of this lawsuit? Quote, she's 31 looks the type said Bill Maher on a show. We did an editorial here a few years ago. It was basically who's Trump effing? Because I said, [00:03:35] that's nobody. It's not nobody. He's been a dog for too long and it's not Melania. I think we may have our answer this week. I think it might be Laura Loomer. Laura Loomer, and that was the joke. That was the joke that let's face it, she was not offended by. She saw it, she [00:03:56] saw her name was mentioned. She lost a job, she would not blame anyone but herself. And so she needs to sue Bill Maher for $150 million. He was forced to explain himself and he later said, I could have showed them together and all the places that they were together and [00:04:11] all the things that were going on. The I love you, the I love you, the blowing of the kiss, the very special, all this stuff. And then just said, hey, get a room. And he said, this is just comedy. These are jokes. Yes, these are jokes. The right wing used to say that jokes [00:04:30] were free speech. I vaguely remember over and over and over again they said that like in this montage I'm gonna show you. Free speech is crucial to countering the government and those in power. Why would our allies or anybody be irritated by free speech and by someone [00:04:46] giving their opinion? I'll admit I'm a free speech guy. The censorship cartel must be. dismantled and destroyed. I am going to work very hard to protect free speech. [00:05:01] But we have more more evidence now of what we all suspected at the time. They don't have a position on free speech that is based on values. They just don't like free speech when it's against them. Here is Donald Trump literally saying that making fun of him or writing negative [00:05:19] stories about him should be illegal. I'm a very strong person for free speech. At the same time, when you have networks, that where I won an election, the stories are 90, they [00:05:34] said 97 % bad. So they gave me 97, they'll take a great story and they'll make it bad. See, I think that's really illegal personally. What total babies, to quote Shredder in Teenage [00:05:55] Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, they're babies, they're babies. They cry, Trump has sued The Wall Street Journal recently for defamation. Luckily, that was thrown out. Cash Patel sued a former [00:06:10] MSNBC contributor. That case was thrown out, but He's one case is like this before where he's basically just trying to intimidate people and get them to change their reporting because he doesn't like when it is. And luckily they're losing in the tides turning. One last thing [00:06:26] about this Lumer case though, one little key piece of evidence she cited was that people in the audience groaned. That's how she thinks she has been wrong. While plaintiff focuses on the fact according to the judgment that some audience members quote groaned rather than [00:06:41] laughed at the remark about the plaintiff and Trump. That too is evidence that they understood it to be a joke, just one that warranted a groan. A frequent audience reaction to stand up comedy and late night comedy jokes. These people who are telling us that comedy is dead because [00:06:57] of anti free speech. They have to have comedy explained to them by a judge. And yes, they groaned, why? Because it was a joke, one that made them picture you having sex with Donald Trump. Disgusting. Yeah, I think that if anybody should sue, it's the people that had to hear [00:07:15] the joke and then think about that thing that was a joke and wasn't just commentary on what really seemed like a strange connection between those two for a while. That was very strange. Yeah, the last thing I'll say is she sued for $120 million, which now we have a price tag [00:07:32] on how much they think they can make off this grift. I love all of these defamation lawsuits are absolutely absurd. 250 million for cash, by the way, she lost her defam- Cassidy lost another defamation lawsuit just this week. This is everywhere, because they've been trained by Trump in a lot of things. Just sue everyone, sue everyone constantly and then claim that [00:07:50] you're for free speech, claim that you're for comedy and everything. It's just grotesque. I am also worried though that after the joke that you made about her, m I think that I should go on Bill Maher to explain that it was a joke and apologize, lest we be sued. anyway- [00:08:05] How come you don't want me to go on Bill Maher, I'm worried about additional things that you might say. Actually, no, I would prefer that you go on. I'm not actually much of a-. You wanna be on the show, I can smell it on you. No, I might have five years ago. But anyway, no. Yeah, they're little babies. They're little tiny babies. And more importantly, she is just [00:08:23] the worst, man. That video, we were talking about this yesterday. This is the last thing I'll have to say about this. I cited how, you remember when Don Imus got canceled? Yeah, for that exact term. For that exact thing. And now it's like, it's- It's barely even worth mentioning that somebody- What's that? Yeah, like a posthumous Medal of Honor or something. [00:08:43] From Trump. From Trump. Yeah, no, because the stuff that used to be, my God, this is a line that everybody agrees we cannot cross now is a thing that actually gets you honored. It's grotesque.
