I mean, look, we've pointed out for literally years that all of this is a con. They're just trying to get conservatives to focus on this so that they won't pay attention to the fact that they're voting in people who [00:01:50] are gonna economically ruin them. But he's openly admitting it now. And again, they don't care about women's sports in general, they don't at all, they're not remotely interested. I don't even think that he focuses as much on it as some of the others. They pretend even more that this is something that they truly care about. And again, I just wanna point out, [00:03:25] I feel like facts have rarely been a part of this conversation. 20 states, the Olympic Committee and the NCAA have allowed trans athletes to play sports for literally decades. So why is every winner in these sports not trans? [00:03:43] We have decades of case studies across dozens of states and international athletics. So why don't we see it? And also at the same time that the focus, I guess the main course is attacking trans athletes. You also saw in that, they had the CIS female athletes, they couldn't play sports [00:04:02] because they had to show that they weren't able to throw the ball or whatever, so that then the fake trans athlete would look like they don't actually respect these athletes at all. All of this is so fake. And I would say, why are they doing it? Well, look, they're doing it, again all of these culture war things [00:04:19] are designed to allow Republicans to be elected that are only gonna do the biding of the wealthiest in America, and you need to distract poor conservatives. That's why they're doing all of this. But why it works, I think is there are a lot of men out there, young, white, conservative men, or whatever, who are having some difficulty. [00:04:36] They feel left behind, they feel blah, blah, blah, whatever, incl stuff. And they're trained to be as incapable of functioning in modern society as possible by people like Ben Shapiro and the others who want them to be weak and subservient to them. And so what do you need if you've been put into that horrible low position? [00:04:56] You need someone to feel superior to, someone that you can openly mock, and hate, and denigrate. And so they provide that. And trans people aren't the only people that they offer up on a silver platter to these pathetic men, but it's certainly one of them, it's a very popular one these days. [00:05:11] >> Speaker 1: Well, LGBTQ movement has made a lot of strides, and particularly gay men have become a lot more accepted in today's society, even in politics, all over, across the board. And so you can't use them as a pinata anymore, you can't really just knock [00:05:29] at people, calling them F words, degrading them, so now we need a new target. But it's still toxic masculinity, it's still misogyny. I would love to see Ben Shapiro go up against Naomi Osaka or Serena Williams and see if he can even stand one of their serves. [00:05:47] So, like you said, it has nothing to do with women's sports. In fact, they absolutely have zero respect for female athletes, and that is why they wanna mock anybody who is a trans person trying to get into. I mean, they're obviously athletes, whether you're trans or not. [00:06:04] Hopefully, we will see the day where we are more accepting like we are with gay men because gay men are more accepted than gay women. Hopefully, we will see the day when we will be accepting of trans people as well, and we're not there yet, and it's sad. Ben Shapiro, his days are numbered. Sometimes when I see this hyper focus, there's not a day that Michael Knowles, and Matt Walsh, and Ben Shapiro don't wake up and talk for an hour straight about how trans people are coming to ruin your life or [00:06:38] something, and you see all the laws being passed. It makes you think, how are we ever gonna get to that spot? But I try to remember, they did this with gay marriage for literally decades, and I think it arguably might have had the opposite effect. These are horrible, hateful, pathetic, weak people. [00:06:56] Do you want to be associated with them? I don't think most people do. And seeing them constantly whine about trans people, I think might actually drive more reasonable people to be like, if it bothers them so much, maybe it's not actually an issue.
