Marjorie Taylor Greene attempts to prove she is mature and serious, after fellow Republican congressman Darrell Issa calls her out, but fails miserably with humiliating attack. John Iadarola and Jayar Jackson break it down on The Damage Report.

Eight Republicans last night
voted with Democrats to shelf and
kill my articles of impeachment
against Secretary Murrican.
Eight Republicans, I am particularly
outraged at four of the eight
Republicans that voted to shelf
these articles of impeachment,
[00:00:16]
voted to kill them, because four of
them serve on the Judiciary Committee.
And I have to say one of them is Darrell
Issa, and he said that I lack maturity,
well, I want you to know it takes
maturity to vote for impeachment.
It takes seriousness to vote for
impeachment, because we aren't
[00:00:35]
going to stand by and watch our
constituents get murdered by cartel
members who are smuggling illegal
aliens illegally into our country.
>> Speaker 2: Look, Darrell Issa did call
her, you said that she lacks maturity and
[00:00:51]
experience.
He didn't directly say she's immature,
but I'd love to have a conversation about
maturity and have her be a part of,
like, I don't see what it has to do
with anything having to do with voting for
impeachment.
Voting for Joe Biden's impeachment or
putting up, like in this case for
[00:01:06]
Mayorkas, the Homeland Security secretary,
is the easiest thing as a hard right
conservative, to do, it doesn't take
any strength or courage or whatever.
But this is the woman who's apparently
going around behind the scenes and
calling her colleague
Lauren Boebert a whore.
[00:01:22]
This is a person who on video groped
a cardboard cutout of Donald Trump,
if you really wanna have
a conversation about maturity,
there's a lot that you
could be attacked on.
I'll add one additional exhibit that would
be this tweet that she sent out where she
talked more about Darrell Issa but said,
I am a hardworking member of Congress,
[00:01:39]
he did say that about her.
It's not true,
who puts the American people first?
But we all know what Darrell Issa lacks,
and then there's a bunch of emojis of
a football, a basketball, baseball,
tennis ball, and I think that's
supposed to be a billiard ball.
So he lacks experience with competitive
sports, he's not an alpha or whatever.
[00:01:57]
>> [LAUGH]
>> I think that's what she means, Jr.
>> Pretty sure.
>> Speaker 3: I think so, Darrell Issa
is also known for having that serious
ass tan, so maybe, I don't know,
he needs to lack his tanning bed,
I don't know, but he doesn't seem
like a very good basketball player,
[00:02:13]
you're correct, I agree [LAUGH]
>> Speaker 3: By the way, she mentioned,
she said it takes what,
courage, maturity and success?
Whatever she said serious, she's serious,
to bring up something like articles
of impeachment, that's what it was?
>> Speaker 2: Yes.
>> Speaker 3: When articles of
impeachment came up against Donald Trump,
[00:02:29]
I don't remember her talking about how
serious, mature and important it was then.
I remember talking about how it's
nonsense, it's witch hunts, and it's BS,
and I can't believe that they would
do this to a sitting president.
I remember that part when it wasn't
serious or mature to do such a thing, but
once she does, it's serious and mature.
[00:02:46]
>> 100%, people are reminding us of
a lot of the other arguably immature,
at least inexperienced things she's done.
She did effectively use a house hearing
to show revenge born of non
consensual nude images.
Let's see, she weirdly,
[00:03:02]
creepily talked through the mail slot at
Representative Alexandria Ocasio Cortez,
chased down like an utter maniac,
a survivor of a school shooting.
There's a lot of stuff that
we could define as immature,
I'd use other terms that are a little bit
stronger, but at the very least immature.
[00:03:20]
>> Speaker 3: She maturely chased down
a victim of gun violence within his school
and berated him, that was pretty mature.
>> Speaker 2: She retweeted a video
of Trump calling the orchestras A,
it starts with the P letter and
then there's more letters, so again,
[00:03:35]
she very mature, but
also loves the potty talk.
