Vaccination and Visitation
During a basic online child support hearing, a Cook County Judge asked 39-year-old mother Rebecca Firlit if she was vaccinated. According to the Associated Press, "When she said no, the judge withdrew her rights to see the boy until she gets vaccinated." The judge later reversed this ruling, but it brings up an interesting question. Is vaccination status of the parent grounds for removing visitation and/or custody rights? We ask you...
