For months the mainstream media has framed the debate over the Build Back Better bill from the perspective of corporations and lawmakers eager to derail any social spending. Now in this story, the New York Times ignores Joe Manchin and Nancy Pelosi’s broken promises and how corporations bribed “moderate” Dems’ to insist that popular provisions be stripped out of the bill, and instead focus on AOC’s drawing a line in the sand against the continued watering down of the bill and NYC residents’ support for one of the bill’s provisions. Why do you think mainstream media outlets generate these sorts of horrible takes? Is it because they’re malicious or merely clueless? https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/12/nyregion/aoc-infrastructure-bill-vote.html
