Kendrick Lamar dropped a new song on Sunday, his first hit as a lead artist since 2017. “The Heart Part 5” arrives less than a week before the release of Lamar’s long-awaited new LP, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers." In his music video, Lamar morphs into several public figures including Nipsey Hustle, O.J. Simpson, Kanye West, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett and Kobe Bryant. Our question is whether or not Kendrick Lamar’s use of deepfake technology in The Heart Part 5 is appropriate.
