Cenk REACTS After Getting Lego-fied!

An unknown creator gives TYT's Cenk Uygur the Lego treatment over his ban from the UK.

Cenk Uygur has been legified. So this was something that was sent to the production team this morning by Cenk Uygur. I'm not sure if explosive media is behind it. I looked into it and I couldn't figure it out. But nonetheless, it's a great video that kind of references what happened [00:00:17] to Cenk Uygur at the whole South by Southwest event. uh Basically, he was denied entry into the UK, his visa was revoked, so was Hassan Piker's. We've talked about that on the show. So, They put this out, take a look. you uh [00:01:03] Okay, let's just, the studio was lit. Okay, the studio was lit, gotta give him props for that. The chest hair was a nice touch. Yeah, so I've got a lot of thoughts on this. again, I don't know who did it, but I don't really know who does any of the leg-over-kiss. But [00:01:19] you will allow it. Are you kidding me? I'm honored. Okay, let's keep it real. So like in the old days if Saturday and Live did a skit about you, that's like, okay, you made it. Now you get Lego fight, that's a whole nother level, right? So no, first my two cents are [00:01:35] uh too much chest hair, too uh many wrinkles on the face, the hair is too curly, uh and I love it, okay? And I never had any of those signs and I never burned an Israeli flag. But nevertheless, super fun, and I didn't get handcuffed, but still. It doesn't have to be [00:01:53] accurate. It just has to be fun. I love how they perfectly captured your rage. Are you kidding me? That hair, I would be so honored and proud. Because that's a full head of hair. Boy, you got a full head of hair, okay? And you're in your- Thank God. 50s, right? Yeah, [00:02:11] you're in your 50s. mean, you should be proud. No, no, I'll take it. And the whole coat and the shirt is amazing, right? The rage is pretty close to Drew. was the most accurate part. There is one issue. I did have one issue with this video. So let's go to graphic two. It's [00:02:30] a still from the video. And in the background, you'll see some randos sitting with, who are those random people? On set with you. That's interesting. I thought it was Nando on the right-hand side. is definitely not Nando. Why are you throwing him under the bus like that? [00:02:47] No offense to that guy, but that's not Nando. Is that Frances Maxwell on the left? I thought so at first, but no, I don't think so. I don't know. It might be the creators of the video, but- Who knows? It's an Easter egg. Yeah, the point is it's not me. That's the real problem, [00:03:02] That's a little bit, but just a small, I'm nitpicking here, I'm nitpicking. Anyway, super fun. I love that they made that, made me laugh this morning. And uh a lot of other legified stuff is like propaganda slash halfway true. We sometimes get news from it. I don't believe true a lot [00:03:19] of times. So I don't mean we use it as source material. I just mean that that's the Iranian point of view oftentimes and stuff that we don't see here in America. This video didn't have any of that. So wasn't like propaganda or anything like that. It was just kind of badass. so uh [00:03:36] Am I happy they did it? Sure, am I proud that I uh stand up against the genocide? Yeah, of course. And so proud that the UK banned me because apparently my ideas are too dangerous. as Anna's parents would say, dangerous. My dad, yeah, my dad loves to say dangerous. Okay, [00:03:54] so okay, these ideas, everybody be careful you watch the Young Turks. because I'm spewing these dangerous ideas 24 seven. I mean, the public order could be disturbed at any moment. You play this out in the public in a cafe somewhere or something, riots could break out. So now [00:04:12] you've been warned, okay, not just by me, but by the good people who make Lego videos. Last month, the Supreme Court cleared the way for Alabama Republicans to pursue a new voting map. And the coverage of that decision is split almost instantly along partisan lines. Now on the left, a high factuality source says this decision paves the way for racial gerrymandering. [00:04:32] On the right, a mixed factuality source frames it as a- fix for Democrat friendly congressional districts. So which one is it? Well, this is a major story that could affect the balance of power in the midterms. And without ground news, it would be a whole lot harder to instantly [00:04:48] see that partisan split across the more than 200 sources covering it. That's exactly why I recommend ground news. You just saw how easy it is to look at one story and immediately compare who's pushing what. Ground news is a website and app that pulls together reporting [00:05:04] from a- across the political spectrum. So you can compare how the same story is being covered, see the bias distribution, check the factuality ratings of the sources, and even see who owns the outlets behind the reporting. Ground News also has a blind spot feed, which highlights [00:05:19] stories that one side of the political spectrum is barely covering at all. So you're not just trapped inside the version of events, your usual media bubble. wants to feed you. If you're tired of being fed somebody else's narrative, I genuinely recommend ground news.
