Laura Loomer Has A GENERATIONAL CRASHOUT Over Qatari Base
Laura Loomer melted down after learning about the Trump administration's plan to build a Qatari Emeri air force facility at the Mountain Home Airbase in Idaho.
- 18 minutes
I'm also proud that today we're announcing
or signing a letter of acceptance
to build a Qatari Emiri Air Force facility
at the Mountain Home Air Base in Idaho.
The location will be, host a contingent
of Qatari F-15s and pilots
[00:00:16]
to enhance our combined training,
increase lethality, interoperability.
It's just another example
of our partnership.
And I hope, hope, you know,
Your Excellency, that you can count on us.
Well, that was Secretary of Defense
Pete Hegseth announcing earlier today
[00:00:32]
that a Qatari Air Force facility
will be built in Idaho.
And some big name right wingers,
including Islamophobic lunatic Laura
Loomer, are absolutely livid about it.
Maybe for all the wrong reasons, though.
We'll see.
Before we get to that, though, Jake,
your initial thoughts.
[00:00:50]
This America first is going great. Okay.
There's complexity to this.
What did they actually get?
We'll explain in a minute.
Yep.
So, the announcement comes shortly after
Qatar helped to broker the cease fire deal
between Hamas and Israel,
which Hegseth mentioned during his press
[00:01:09]
conference with his Qatari counterpart.
He said no one other than President Trump
could have achieved the peace.
What we believe will be a lasting peace in
Gaza and Qatar played a substantial role
from the beginning, working with our folks
to make sure that came about.
[00:01:25]
I'm not sure why he's still campaigning
for Trump to have a Nobel Peace Prize,
because he just lost it.
So the facility will hire
will house Qatari pilots
training to fly F-15 fighter jets.
But Hegseth didn't say how many Qatari
F-15s would be based there
[00:01:40]
or when it would become operational.
So we don't have a whole lot
of information yet.
It is worth noting, however,
that Qatar is home to America's biggest
military base in the Middle East.
Nonetheless, it has raised more questions
about Trump's very cozy ties to Qatar,
[00:01:56]
which, if you recall, gifted him
a $400 million jet earlier this year.
And at the time, we were all wondering,
like, what are we going to give them
in exchange for that jet?
I guess now we know.
And the right wingers are worried
that this is a sign
that America is devolving into some
kind of Islamic Sharia law state.
[00:02:14]
And nobody is more furious
than Laura Loomer, who absolutely just
crashed out on Twitter or X earlier today
after this announcement.
She tweeted about it over and over again.
And we're going to show you
just a few examples.
So it started with this one.
She said, what the hell is going on?
[00:02:32]
We would all like to know,
why are we trying to train more Muslims
how to fly planes on US soil?
Didn't we already learn our lesson?
Why are we encouraging more
Islamic infiltration of our country
by the founders of Hamas
and the Muslim Brotherhood?
[00:02:48]
This is very bad for national security.
Qatar is one of the largest funders
of Islamic terror.
Now they're being rewarded by getting
a Qatari Air Force base in Idaho.
This is outrageous.
We're allowing the Islamic enemy
to gain so much ground in our country,
and I will never support this.
[00:03:04]
So she said all of that,
which was quite a mouthful.
And then 20 minutes later she posted this.
She had more to say.
She said, never thought I'd see
Republicans give terror financing Muslims
from Qatar, a military base on U.S.
Soil, so they can murder Americans.
I don't think I'll be voting in 2026.
[00:03:22]
I cannot in good conscience make any
excuses for the harboring of jihadis.
This is where I draw the line.
So she attached this video
of Donald Trump to that post.
The nation of Qatar, unfortunately,
has historically been a funder
[00:03:38]
of terrorism at a very high level.
We have to stop the funding of terrorism.
I decided the time had come
to call on Qatar to end its funding.
[00:03:54]
They have to end that funding
and its extremist ideology.
Okay, so that was obviously from 2017.
So I guess Donald Trump feels a lot
differently today than he did back then.
But Laura Loomer, after she posted
that she also targeted Trump
[00:04:13]
directly writing this, she said,
President Trump is an amazing man.
I proudly voted for him three times.
But if he allows Islam to gain ground
in our country, all of this hard work and
sacrifices will be wiped out by genocidal
Muslims who seek to impose Sharia law
[00:04:28]
in America and destroy the West.
Islam equals death cult. Wait.
There's more.
She also encouraged the people of Idaho
to revolt, and said that she is just glad
Idaho has so many Christian militias.
She asked whether the US was going to open
up the border to every Muhammad and his
[00:04:46]
child brides, and said, this is the type
of thing I would expect from a from
President Ilhan Omar, not Donald Trump.
And then she said there were
countless other bigoted screeds.
And Loomer is not alone.
Steve Bannon is also angry
about all of this.
[00:05:02]
His reasoning is a little bit different,
though, and dare I say,
a little bit more grounded and more,
you know, more, just just more reasonable,
I think he told Newsweek
in a text message, there should never be
a military base of a foreign power
on the sacred soil of America.
[00:05:18]
All right, Jake, so a few things there.
We do have other military bases for
countries here in this in this country.
Not that many, though, you know,
and their NATO allies.
We have an air base in Qatar.
The Kushner's, we know get a lot of money
from the Middle East,
[00:05:34]
specifically from Qatar.
We know that Trump is
in cahoots with them.
They gave Trump that airplane
that was worth $400 million.
And, you know, the DOJ,
everybody said that was a okay.
Qatar, just to be clear,
is not a NATO member.
And the US, you know, we're so upset about
having this base here in our country.
[00:05:53]
And I think that there are reasons
to be upset about it.
I'm not too excited about it.
I don't understand why it's happening,
but the US has military bases in over 80
countries around the world, one on every
continent at least, including Antarctica.
We have somewhere around 750 bases.
[00:06:11]
And the reason why we don't know
exactly what that number is,
is because it's classified information.
And we the people, the public, does not
have access to how many military bases
the United States has around the world.
Yeah.
Also, I don't think it was mentioned
in any of these clips here,
but Trump also signed a treaty, you know,
that an allyship with Qatar.
[00:06:32]
So if anybody defends them,
we will step into if anyone attacks them,
we will step in to defend them.
That's our troops,
our boots on, on their ground.
Yeah.
So that that is interesting.
Jen, what are your thoughts?
Okay, so we have a poll on,
who do you what do you prefer now?
[00:06:48]
America First or Trump?
Because Trump is apparently
not America first anymore.
According to the America First guys,
and according to reality, this is
actually the least of the issues here.
And I'm going to explain why in a second.
But the polls up on Titcomb because,
Trump now is saying we're going
[00:07:03]
to send $20 billion to Argentina.
We're going to send 200 troops to Israel,
A little bit of boots on the ground there.
We're going to we're considering attacking
Venezuela, and now Qatar
is getting trained in America, etc..
So, by the way, our left wing audience
is saying overwhelmingly they'll take
[00:07:23]
America first over Trump's foreign policy.
So now to Laura Loomer.
So I don't know why, people like her
or others like her are taken seriously,
because the first thing they do
when anybody criticizes Israel
is anti Semite, right?
I mean, she's called almost everyone
in America an anti-Semite.
[00:07:40]
I'm not sure she's left a single person
out, out of 350 million people.
Right.
But then when you ask her about Islam,
she's like, that's called, jihadis.
They're the Islamic enemy.
So then why do I care
what you think is anti-Semitic?
You're an obvious over the top bigot.
[00:07:57]
So, like bigot says what?
Who gives a damn what you say, right?
So, like I, their lack of logic stuns me.
They're like, oh, I should be able to
offend you in the most, like, vile ways.
[00:08:15]
But if you criticize a foreign government
that I kind of like.
Oh my God, I'm offended, I'm offended.
So I mean, every time she says
somebody's an anti-Semite, everybody
should laugh their ass off at her
and say, what a loser bigot you are.
[00:08:31]
We don't give a damn what you think,
you stupid, racist bigot.
Is that clear enough? I hope it is.
So now, in terms of what's
going on with Qatar,
are they really getting a base here?
I said, I don't know why people
keep saying it that way,
because now, of course they're not.
[00:08:47]
It turns out that a lot of countries,
not just NATO countries.
Yes.
Also, Singapore has the same kind of deal
that Qatar is getting now.
I'm going to tell you why they got
that deal Qatar did in this case.
But Singapore, Turkey, Italy, Finland.
I mean, once the Finnish had it,
we were finished anyway.
[00:09:04]
All right.
Anyways, I can't not do a Finnish joke.
So, so Qatar is an ally.
We have a giant base there.
Yes.
Talked about the real reason
why this deal is happening
is because Israel bombed Qatar.
And so, for those of you
who are not well versed in foreign policy,
[00:09:21]
you don't have to be.
That's our job. Right.
That was considered a bridge too far
by everyone on planet Earth.
Why?
Qatar is, number one a huge ally of of us.
They let us take,
our our ships take off from there.
[00:09:37]
It makes all of our readiness,
combat, etc.
Much, much easier.
That's why you're seeing that all
of the American officials Hegseth,
Trump and others have this reaction.
And and by the way,
we get a lot of natural gas from Qatar.
And of course, this is why Trump and his
family also get a lot of money from Qatar.
[00:09:55]
So legitimate and illegitimate reasons.
And so when Israel bombed them
in the middle of peace negotiations, when
they were hosting peace negotiations for
the rest of the world, they're like, oh,
okay, so now we can't have peace
negotiations anywhere because
Israel will violate international law,
will bomb America's allies,
[00:10:15]
endanger American troops.
They have no bounds. So Qatar was furious.
So we might have lost that base.
We might have lost the natural gas,
and all of the Gulf might start
moving towards China in terms of alliances
instead of America and the West.
[00:10:31]
So that is why we had to do damage
control, because Israel, as usual, did so
much damage to us our relationships, our
troops, our bases, our economy, because
their and their avarice knows no bounds.
[00:10:50]
No, we don't care about international law.
And so Qatar was like the seventh country
they had bombed in the region.
Meanwhile, the propagandists
in American media are like.
Oh, poor little Israel's
doing self-defense.
How is it attacking
seven of your neighbors,
[00:11:05]
including America's arguably top ally
in the Middle East, doing self-defense?
How's murdering peace negotiators,
both of Iran's and and Hamas is,
being in favor of peace or being victims.
No. So if you're mad that Qatar is now
training pilots in America, then get mad
[00:11:23]
at Israel, because if it wasn't Israel
bombing them, this wouldn't have happened.
So, okay, so what's actually happening?
Qatar bought, a bunch of F-15s.
Different countries buy F-15s.
And those are the countries
that come and train here with our pilots
[00:11:39]
to learn how to fly the F-15s.
So now, in the case of Qatar,
when they say they bought the F-15s,
they actually did.
They paid billions
and billions of dollars for it.
When, if you see in the press that Israel
has bought something from us, it's a lie.
They never buy anything from us.
[00:11:56]
This is what happens.
We give funding to Israel.
They use that funding to buy weapons
from our defense contractors.
Then the lying mainstream media.
And we've caught them doing this.
We showed it to you
on the show a couple of times.
They all go,
oh, Israel has bought billions of dollars
[00:12:13]
of weapons from America.
Wonderful.
Israel. Look at them.
Buying our stuff. And then Paige.
You know, paragraph A 17
or in a lot of the articles, they never
in most of the articles, they never, ever,
ever clarify they didn't buy a thing.
No, we bought it for them.
We gifted it to them.
[00:12:29]
And of course,
that only applies to Israel.
Everyone else has to buy it.
And Qatar did buy it.
So they've got to have the pilots trained.
They're going to train in Idaho.
So look, I care about
America's sovereignty deeply.
So I'm on guard for all of these countries
infringing on our sovereignty.
[00:12:49]
And, you know, we know which country
infringes on our sovereignty the most
by a million miles, and that's Israel.
But should mainstream media says,
don't never talk about it.
Never talk about it, right?
But the rest of us know
planet Earth knows, right?
[00:13:06]
So our issue isn't with Qatar.
Our issue, even with if you're
upset about this, even this was created
by Israel bombing them.
So at the end of the day, if folks
from Singapore and Finland and Qatar come
to train, I'm on planes they bought.
[00:13:23]
It's not the end of the world.
That's my conclusion.
Yeah.
And, you know, the Islamophobia
is strong with this entire narrative.
And it's come back in a way
that I haven't really seen recently.
I mean, it's always been there,
but this feels like a lot, right?
There was a lot of Islamophobia
in those tweets that we read.
[00:13:40]
And it's also interesting
because just a few numbers there is
approximately in the US, the Muslim
population here is approximately
1.3% of the entire population.
That's roughly like 3.5 million people.
And that is compared to 67% Christians.
So 1.3% compared to 67%.
[00:13:59]
And it's like between the 1% transgender
population and the 1% Muslim population.
The Christian right is obviously,
you know, to them, so unsafe because
of these very, very minute populations
that coexist in this country.
And I'll say real quick, I think
that they target these smaller populations
[00:14:16]
because, you know, a lot of the people
who engage with this kind of content,
this kind of transphobia or Islamophobia,
have probably never meaningfully met
a muslim person or a transgender person.
So these are easy populations
to fearmonger over, especially
[00:14:32]
when the majority of the people who are
listening to you live in more rural,
homogenous communities and, you know,
Muslims and transgender people there,
so obviously different
from the Christian majority.
But the reality is, you know, like I
live in a Texas suburb, and if you go
[00:14:48]
to the mall, there are plenty of Muslims
just walking around shopping or whatever.
And most people don't even notice them
because, you know, the Muslims
are not at the mall yelling about jihad
or whatever it is that they think
that Muslims are actually doing.
And, you know,
there's there's a thing that happens.
[00:15:03]
And I don't think it's fair
that this happens.
But a lot of times
whenever you are Muslim, right,
and you go out of your way
to be nice to people who you think might
be antagonistic to Muslim people
because and it shouldn't it shouldn't be
people's responsibility to do this,
[00:15:19]
but we don't have the luxury of people
engaging with us and then being like,
oh, that was her, or that was him.
That wasn't.
We're seen as a representation
of our entire people.
Anyone who remotely looks like us
or sounds like us,
or has a name similar to us in the future,
that person will say, oh,
[00:15:36]
I met a muslim once and she was nice to me
and she was, you know, normal or whatever,
whatever it is that they want to say.
Whereas, you know, if they had
a bad interaction with a muslim person,
then that's how they're going to assume
everybody is in that population.
And a lot of minority populations
feel this pressure and it's not fair,
[00:15:54]
and it's racist is what it is.
And, you know, like the fact that people
feel that they have to do these things
is because it is racist.
Like, I had a friend who wore the hijab
and she went to a school and, you know,
more of a conservative part of town.
And I asked her
why she was wearing the hijab.
[00:16:10]
You know,
because there's a lot of reasons.
If you're not Muslim,
there's a lot of reasons why you would
choose to wear it or not to wear it.
And she said part of the reason was
because I want to represent Muslim people
so they can say,
I met one and she was nice.
- And I think that's sad.
- Yeah.
Real quick, just to chime in on two
things, you said, look, the Christian.
[00:16:28]
Right.
Yeah, there's been parts of the
Christian right that have attacked Muslims
for the last couple of decades,
but now people are beginning to realize
and go ask someone who's in the right wing
under the age of 35,
who has more control in this country,
[00:16:44]
Israel or Muslim countries.
And they they're now at the same point
that the left is at,
and almost the whole country is at, which
is is this a trick question so obvious?
Obviously, Israel has a thousand times
more control than the Muslim countries.
[00:16:59]
So what are we talking about?
Muslims taking over?
And to your point, that is not being
driven by the Christian right
at this point, I don't think yes,
it's being driven by Israel loyalists.
Every Israeli shill in the media is
now going, no, you know, the real problem
isn't Israel, it's Qatar and China.
And you should hate Muslims.
[00:17:15]
And Muslims are evil
and they're going to destroy the planet.
Anti-semite. Anti-semite.
Oh, you're being a muslim. Suck suck.
- Suck.
- Right.
Hey. What happened?
I thought you cared about bigotry.
They don't care about bigotry.
And in fact, Israel right now
is trying super hard to spread
anti-Muslim fervor in this country
while pretending they care about bigotry
[00:17:34]
because they don't care at all.
This current government of Israel
is disastrous.
The final thing is, guys, the reason
why we never engage in anti-Semitism
and you see me say over and over
current government of Israel,
the government of Israel,
not Jewish Americans, not Jews overall,
is because we're all humans.
[00:17:50]
It's both like kind of comical
but tragic at the same time that we have
to keep trying to prove it over and over.
No, Jews are like everyone else, okay.
But that government sometimes
has power and abuses that power.
That doesn't mean anything
about Jewish Americans, right?
[00:18:07]
Oh, Muslims are humans.
And so when you meet one,
they're like, wow, they were just like me.
What did you think they were going to be?
Of course, we're all humans.
Every time you ring the bell below,
an angel gets his wings.
Totally not true.
But it does keep you updated
on our live shows.
