But we would go visit his family in Florida, and we would have breakfast at Cracker Barrel. And I was at first, not happy about it. I was like, oh, what is this place? [00:01:22] Like, this place does not look, there's too much stuff in here. It's too cluttered. It seems like it could be dirty. Oh, but it grew on me real quick. Those flapjacks are the best pancakes I have literally ever had. They're so good. They got. [00:01:38] They've got this, like, hashbrown casserole that's, like, cheesy and delicious. Anyway, I think we have a story that we're supposed to do. I'll get to how much I love cracker Bill in a second, but last week, Cracker Barrel actually changed its logo, which ended up causing controversy. [00:01:54] Allegedly. So conservatives accused the brand of going woke, and even Donald Trump weighed in on the matter. In fact, just hours after Trump told the company to change the logo back, Cracker Barrel listened and did just that. So before we get any further, let's show you what the original [00:02:11] Cracker Barrel logo is. That's the one at the top with the gentleman leaning on the barrel, the Cracker Barrel Avi. And then they wanted to go with the minimalist approach, so they took the guy away and instead had a super boring Cracker Barrel logo. [00:02:27] I care approximately 0% about any of this. The only thing I care about are the flapjacks. Are they good? Are they the same? If they are great, if they change that, then we're going to war. Okay, but, yesterday Trump posted Cracker Barrel [00:02:43] should go back to the old, old logo. You're the president of the United States, man. What are you doing? Like, you don't need to weigh in on this. Admit a mistake based on customer response, the ultimate poll, and manage the company better than ever before. [00:02:59] They got $1 billion worth of free publicity if they play their cards right. Very tricky to do, but a great opportunity. Have a major news conference. Okay, I'm done reading that. We don't need a major news conference about the Cracker Barrel logo. Hours later, the logo was reverted back to the original [00:03:15] and Trump posted this response. Congratulations, Cracker Barrel in commas for some reason on changing your logo back to what it was. All of your fans very much appreciate it. Good luck. Into the future, make lots of money, and most importantly, [00:03:31] make your customers happy again. By the way, the other thing about Cracker Barrel that's amazing. Their biscuits. Like, they've got really, really good biscuits. - Have you eaten at Cracker Barrel? - Still never been. I'm not gonna lie. This whole controversy has made me want to. Now try it.
