Trump's About To Make A HUGE Mistake
Former President Donald Trump announced that he is suing the Department of Justice (DOJ) for $100 million after their raid of Mar-A-Lago for his alleged mishandling of classified documents.
- 11 minutes
The shameful raid and break in of my home.
Mar-A-Lago was a travesty of justice.
That made a mockery of America's laws,
traditions and principles
[00:00:15]
before the entire world.
The entire world was watching.
And they're shocked.
They're shocked.
So after many years of complaining
about political persecution
into crimes he probably did commit,
Donald Trump is finally taking action
and is going to be suing the DOJ
[00:00:37]
for that raid over the documents
that I guess were not stolen.
He's suing the DOJ for $100 million.
That's how much they need the cash.
Again, over that search back in 2022.
Remember, this lawsuit comes
after Judge Aileen Cannon
[00:00:53]
already threw out the documents case.
She just did that.
Jack Smith is appealing it.
Who knows where it stands.
But that has been thrown out.
That's where it stands right now.
And what that raid uncovered.
If you guys don't remember
the documents in the bathroom.
[00:01:08]
But more specifically, the FBI did
search Mar-A-Lago in August of 2022.
They recovered more than 11,000
white House documents,
including 103 classified ones,
after it previously subpoenaed Trump
over his remaining classified documents,
but had reason to believe
he didn't turn them all over again.
[00:01:26]
He was indicted on 40 federal charges
related to this, from withholding national
security information at Mar a Lago and
obstructing those efforts to return them,
because, again, he'd been warned
that this was coming down the pike.
This was going to be happening.
He better return the documents.
[00:01:42]
Is he sure he doesn't have them? Is he?
Sure.
And then, of course,
they actually searched it
and they did get a warrant to do that.
But more about that lawsuit
that his team is bringing.
Its led by attorney Daniel Epstein
and alleges that the DOJ's actions
constituted tortious conduct.
[00:01:57]
What does that mean?
That means it was a tort
that you could sue in civil court.
Over. Thank you.
I thought it had something
to do with, like, turtles.
And.
Yeah, it does sound a little Mitch
McConnell y, but no, it just means
it's a civil suit for damages.
See, that's why they.
You know what it's like.
He's got his own network.
[00:02:15]
A tortious conduct
against the former president,
citing intrusion upon seclusion, malicious
prosecution and abuse of process.
Epstein argues the decisions made
by Attorney General Merrick Garland
and FBI Director Christopher Wray
were not grounded in social,
economic and political policy,
[00:02:30]
but instead in a clear dereliction
of constitutional principles, an
inconsistent standard as applied to Trump,
and a clear intent to engage
in political persecution, not to advance
good law enforcement or practices.
So Trump alleges that the protocol
was the search was inconsistent
[00:02:49]
with protocols used in routine searches
of an investigative target's premises,
and the FBI's conduct was a severe
and unacceptable intrusion that is
highly offensive to a reasonable person.
Apparently, they should have just stood
outside with, like, a trick or treat bag,
rang the doorbell and was like,
documents please.
[00:03:05]
But no, they didn't.
They actually told him
they were going to search.
They got the warrant. They searched.
A spokesman, Steven Cheung, characterized
the lawsuits threat in a statement Monday
as Trump continuing to fight
against blatant election interference,
claiming the raid on Mar-A-Lago
was illegal and unconstitutional,
[00:03:21]
as are all the Democrat witch hunts
that are now falling apart
like a rotten house of cards.
Weird mixed metaphor there that they are.
Which should it be immediately dismissed
in order
to bring unity back to our nation?
Ha!
The funny thing about this, and here's
here's what I got to say, you know,
[00:03:39]
let sleeping dogs lie, let dismiss cases
be because in fact, this whole thing could
backfire if the lawsuit goes forward.
U.S.
Attorney Joyce Vance
noted that the civil lawsuit
could actually be a boon for the DOJ,
as it would mean that Trump
could be deposed in this case and would it
[00:03:57]
would put a focus on why the criminal case
was legitimate and Trump's criminality.
The civil suit would allow the DOJ
to continue discovery, meaning they'd be
able to get evidence from Trump
about keeping the white House documents
that could ultimately bolster their case.
So keep talking about it, buddy.
Keep going.
[00:04:13]
Yep.
So all right,
now let me break down for you guys why?
This suit is mental. It's so dumb.
Hey, don't scroll away.
Come back, come back.
Because before the video continues,
we just want to urge you
to lend your support to TYT.
You power our honest reporting.
[00:04:30]
You do it at tight.com/team
and we love you for it.
So number one, they make it seem like, oh,
the FBI decided to do this on their own.
Oh, my God, this is just unprecedented.
They spent 13 hours in Biden's home.
They went to Biden's Wilmington home.
Rehoboth home?
[00:04:49]
They went to the University of Delaware.
We had some documents.
So it's not at all unprecedented.
In fact, in Biden's case,
he did the search.
His attorneys did the search first,
just in case they had documents.
They did find them.
They turned him over to the FBI
and invited the FBI to raid their home.
[00:05:05]
And which they did. Okay.
And now in Trump's case, number one,
they make this absurd claim that they're
like, now in order to investigate anyone,
you need their consent.
No you don't.
That's not even close to true.
Have you ever seen
in any other criminal case?
[00:05:21]
Oh, Mr. Mob Person, can we please
have your consent to investigate you?
Or perhaps go into your home
and find the dead body in the basement?
No, that's not a thing.
You have to have probable cause,
and you have to go to a judge to get it.
[00:05:37]
So did the FBI circumvent
the judicial system and go around the.
No. They went to a judge
and they said they said,
here's overwhelming evidence that he's
keeping stolen documents in his home.
The judge is like,
oh, you're definitely right.
Here's the warrant.
They could not have followed
procedure any better.
[00:05:53]
They go in.
And in Trump's case,
even if they asked for consent,
which they actually did, it's absurd.
You only ask someone
who's among the elites, right?
Someone who's very wealthy
or powerful or understands consent.
Yeah. And, well.
[00:06:08]
He doesn't really understand
consent either, but.
So they did him a massive solid.
They would never do you they would
never ask your consent to see if they
can find illegal evidence in your home.
They just asked the judge
to get the warrant and do it.
And Trump said oh yeah. Yeah.
[00:06:24]
Oh sure. I gave everything over.
And they're like, dude,
we know you didn't.
He's like, yeah, I did.
Well, that left him no choice.
They know for a fact that he has
top secret documents at Mar-A-Lago.
They showed it to a judge.
They got the warrant, they went in,
and guess what they found?
Top secret documents.
100 classified documents
[00:06:42]
massively relevant to Iran's defenses.
Potential nuclear secrets.
It doesn't get any more top secret
than the documents he not only had was,
but was hiding from the FBI.
So, look, if you're a conspiracy theorist,
you don't believe any of that.
[00:06:57]
You think that.
And I know because I interact
with them on social media, they're like,
no, the FBI conjured all of it.
They brought it in.
And and then they the deep state.
And the judge is in on it, and the judge
is judges afraid of black people.
And that's why he did this ruling
when he didn't want to.
And all sorts of lunatic stuff.
[00:07:14]
But back here in the real world,
if you're an actual normal human being.
So this is all on the record.
There's absolutely no question about it.
What is this suing like?
If you were innocent and you sued the FBI
and they did a great injustice to you
[00:07:30]
and you sued the FBI for $100 million,
your chance of winning is so small.
What if you're actually guilty?
And they did find the documents
they were looking for.
Your chances are zero. Zero.
Beyond zero.
This is what Trump does all the time.
And by the way, he hasn't filed a suit.
[00:07:46]
He's threatened to file a suit
because this is Trump 101.
Oh, yeah.
I'm gonna file a lawsuit against you.
Hey, everybody, pay attention to me.
Look at me, daddy, look at me.
I'm in the spotlight.
And the second part of it is,
I'm going to bully you into submission.
You're not going to bully the FBI
into submission, you clown.
[00:08:01]
So please take it to court for the reasons
that Franny explains they're going
to depose you and you know him.
Verbal diarrhea.
He'll be like, I took the documents.
- That were top.
- Secret.
I was going to sell them to Iran. Right.
You know, he's just going to cause himself
more damage because he's a moron.
Right.
But on top of that,
they're not going to do any of that.
[00:08:16]
They're going to drop the lawsuit before.
Like, even if they ever file it,
they'll drop it before it goes to court.
How do I know that?
He's done that dozens
and dozens of times in his life.
He mainly used it to bully people
and attract attention.
So that's who this clown is?
No, I think that's a really important
point, is basically the news cycle has
[00:08:33]
moved on to Kamala Harris and to Tim Walz.
He's freaking out about that.
He doesn't think
he's going to win this, obviously.
Definitely not before the election.
But it's like, oh, talk about me again.
Well, yeah.
But it's about a thing you definitely did.
And like putting documents even in your
bathroom, even if they weren't classified.
[00:08:49]
Like, what are you doing?
And also this is kind of one
of my favorite crimes of his
because he did it all himself.
No, this was not about, you know,
trying to save the nation
from Joe Biden as in January 6th,
which like obviously is a lie.
It wasn't anything about the big lie.
It wasn't even about hush money payments.
[00:09:07]
This had nothing.
This just him, Man want to keep trophy
to possibly sell for clout elsewhere
when he has to, you know, flee the country
and not not be extradited.
Like, that's like it's
just he did it to himself.
[00:09:22]
He just his own pride.
And then he declassified them
with his mind.
I don't know if you remember that. Yeah.
By the way, they literally say that
on social media, like right wingers.
Look, there's a portion
of right wingers who are.
Now, I know a lot of you
on the left wing won't believe this,
but, that are like, hey, listen, I get it.
[00:09:38]
He's a clown.
But I hate the establishment.
I hate Kamala Harris, I hate Joe Biden,
I hate the Democrats, etc.
I'm not voting for Trump.
I'm voting against those people.
And I get it, I get it.
At least that makes
some degree of sense, right?
I don't think it makes sense
to vote for Trump, but I understand
the logic that they're using.
[00:09:54]
But the other half, they're in la la land.
They're like, yeah, of course.
He declassified them with his eyes.
And then when you do that, and that's
why the judge who was appointed by him,
who every other person thinks
is a total buffoon
and cannot apply the law at all, including
other Trump appointed judges above her.
[00:10:10]
Right.
Yep. Okay.
No, she's the only honest judge
not intimidated by black people.
But if you haven't heard
that insane theory,
they say that they lost 61 times in court
after the 2020 election, despite the fact
that they presented zero evidence.
[00:10:25]
Not because they presented zero evidence,
because all the Trump appointed
and conservative judges were afraid
that black people were going to riot.
And so they said, okay, forget it.
Even though there's obvious evidence
that the election has been stolen.
I'm so afraid of black people,
as all rational human beings are,
[00:10:40]
that we're just going to say that
that there was no evidence
and we'll lie on behalf of the deep state.
Look again, if you're a lunatic,
this will make a lot of sense to you.
But if you're part of the, you know,
the 75, 80% of the rest of the population,
here he goes again.
What a crazy.
[00:10:56]
I mean, look,
Kamala Harris is not passing you.
- And your answer is they remember.
- The documents I stole.
I want you to pay more attention to that.
And I want money for it.
Remember how I was going
to sell the secrets?
Well, I didn't get to sell them.
I want the money anyway.
Come on. What a total loser.
