The Anti-Weaponization Fund, have you dropped that? No, a court ruled against it. But just so you understand, these are people that have been decimated. These are people that lost their lives over nonsense, where the FBI said, go in, go in, police, go in, go into the. And [00:00:19] they were supposed to serve five years, ten years in jail. People committed suicide. People were treated, there's never been anything like this, what happened to those people. And these were many great people. And I gave them pardons, I'm very proud to have given them pardons. And I think they should be reimbursed for a crooked government. the hell is he talking [00:00:39] about? And listening to that sound bite of him and you know, I love you, grandpa. But towards the end of his life, my grandfather would just start just spewing nonsense. And my grandmother who would have it would say, up, Bill. Okay. And they loved each other, but I'm just telling [00:00:55] you, he was spewing nonsense towards the end of his life. And what we just heard there was nonsense. What are you talking about? He doesn't know. I will tell him the only crooked government related to January 6th is the one led by a man who told his supporters to march [00:01:15] down to the Capitol building. That was you, Donald Trump, because Mike Pence didn't have the courage. to unilaterally overturn an American election. And by the way, Mike Pence wanted to, I'm gonna say it every time, he called the other former vice president who could not spell [00:01:35] potato and asked him, is there a way? And even that guy said, Mike, you gotta certify. You have to, you gotta certify. Main takeaway though is that the insurrectionist slush fund is back. [00:01:51] Uneven Republican leadership just told us the opposite as you'll see in this compilation. Speaker Johnson just told us it's his understanding that this fund is off the table. So is that your understanding as well after speaking with the acting attorney general? That is correct. [00:02:07] Is there any way that you could put this in writing? I don't know if there are other ways that you could use uh another vehicle to move forward with a similar fund or similar intention. I'm telling you it's not. The attorneys. testified yesterday that it is not moving forward and [00:02:24] the speaker informed the House members this morning it is not moving forward. Would you feel more comfortable if they could just put it in writing that it's not moving forward? Sure, I think that would satisfy a number of my colleagues and probably you and the media. [00:02:41] ah But again, I think the bottom line is there's not the support for it uh within Congress. Is everyone a fool? First of all, what is putting it in writing going to do when they have a [00:02:58] lot of things that are in writing court orders? And they say, we're just not going to follow it. We're just not going to do what we're supposed to do. But anyway, any who, if the support isn't there in Congress, you're going to have to prove it because as we just heard, Trump is not done with this. I mean, he's screaming it. He doesn't like this. He wants the criminals [00:03:20] to win. Usually by now, congressional Republicans would be caving to his demands, but they're not, not just yet. You can believe it. They're going to try again to quash it by adding an amendment to the new immigration bill to block the fund indefinitely. It's like whack-a-mole [00:03:39] with this guy. I don't trust any of it's going to work. Cause if you have someone at the top who's not going to do what he's supposed to do, he's not going to follow the law. What does... putting more legislation out, mean? If he's not gonna do what he's supposed to [00:03:55] do. Senator Tom Tillis plans to file an amendment that would block creation of the fund. Told reporters just before the vote to start consideration of the bill that the administration's assurance that the fund was dead, including Blanche's, was not enough. Of course it's not enough. [00:04:12] And Blanche, I don't wanna hear one more person who used to know him who said, He was a good person. Nobody wakes up with this incredible lack of integrity on one day of their life. [00:04:29] It had to be in there somewhere. Get me his kindergarten teacher. She saw it. I guarantee she saw it. She had to have seen it. Till has had this to say of his reasoning. Got an acting AG saying one thing, the president saying another. The only thing that gives it finality is what [00:04:46] we can do in there. Tillis said, pointing to the Senate chamber. So you do agree that you have some power to stop this. Immigration bills plan to be passed through reconciliation. So they will only need 50 votes. Given the narrow majority in the Senate, I mean, gotta ask the [00:05:06] question, will they all get on the same side or will there be stubborn holdouts? in favor or against the package that ends up blocking the immigration bill as well. If that happens, That's another 70 billion that ICE is not getting. So I'm all for that. But I don't understand [00:05:24] what's so hard here. And again, you could probably, and you'd be right to say, Sharon, you got to just work with what we got. Stop, you know, obsessing over what they didn't do in the past. But all of this, Viviana, could have been avoided. Oh, yeah. Had you put this guy in check, like [00:05:45] you always had the power to do. All the way back to Ms. Collins, the senator, who learned his lesson. No, he didn't. He didn't learn his lesson. And here we are again. 100%. And [00:06:00] I'm with you. If ICE doesn't get that money, that's great. They have plenty of money, though. That's really not going to slow them down too much. This fund is not going to go anywhere. They can say what they want. We know that behind closed doors, and we just talked about it earlier [00:06:16] with that kid that got the job at the Pentagon, they are putting in place a merit system of loyalty. So they need the slush fund. That's gonna be necessary for them. Even its existence alone, even if it never pays anyone out, its existence alone sends a signal. You're with [00:06:35] us, we got you. And that is very dangerous. And they all know it. They know that even talking about this fund, even just a mere idea of it is sending a signal that we're gonna protect the loyalists. Scary. Yeah. It's very scary. And when you talk about, you know, the [00:06:55] people who were already saying, I'm gonna apply for this, you know, the head of that one hate organization who was one of the organizers of J6, the others, I mean, they were gonna get some big time, the pillow guy. Even the pillow guy was saying, almost a billion. Now, pillow [00:07:15] guy, you wrote checks, you couldn't cash is what you did. Okay. And now you want us to pay for it. And the pillows, by the way, my opinion, don't come after that work, sucked. Okay. I woke up with this and I got it for free. Okay. I was on some consumer show. gave [00:07:33] me one. My head was pounding in the morning after sleeping on this pillow. Anyway. They gotta do something, because this is a bridge too far and people aren't gonna put up with it.
