My view of the United States Government is different from most. As an indigenous person, no State or the Federal Government has ever worked for me. Politically, I waffle between "What's the Point" to un-commital (i.e. Unaffiliated) to (more recently) Progressive Democrat. I actually hate political parties. Dems vs. Repubs seems to never get us anywhere. But I DO believe in being educated on the issues. And there are many, The United States owes MUCH to the Indigenous Nations of our part of North America. Yet, if they treat ALL thier citizens the way they currently are, how can I, as ONE indigenous man, have hope and faith that "America" can work for me?
