The Spox declared that this is about winning the race that they still believe they will. The campaign is spending $2.5 million/month. Jimmy points out that Boehner is considered a moderate by the rapid GOP, when he tweeted that Obama is funding terrorists. Ben Carson’s lead over Trump in Iowa with Republicans has been attributed to his ridiculous comments about ObamaCare being slavery, not allowing a Muslim to be president, and that the Holocaust would’ve been prevented if the Jews had guns. After the marathon Benghazi panel yesterday, Trey Gowdy didn’t have an answer for what they learned from the grilling of Clinton. A Maine high school football season has been cancelled after 4 players were hurt in the last game. John gives the numbers of high school players that have died while playing the game this year. Cenk talks about how even more kids died playing high school football back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Cenk and Jimmy talk about how coaches used to tell the team that drinking water causes injuries. A new drug competitor has developed a pill that competes with Pharma Bro’s drug, but for only $1 rather than his extremely bloated price. The FCC has voted to stop the exorbitant costs of prisoners’ phone call costs. An Oregon man was arrested for breaking into a couple’s house. While inside the house, he got naked and slid into the bed with them, kissing the homeowner on the cheek. A gun was pulled and fired, but the burglar wasn’t hit. Cenk doesn’t agree with having guns in the bed and wouldn’t even want one in this situation. Jimmy disagrees. A video has gone viral of a boy playing basketball before throwing the ball at girls riding bikes, taking one out. Online commenters tended to lambaste the girl for saying “fuck you” when the boy said, “hey ladies.” Discussion over whether or not this was as horrible as it’s being portrayed. After Zendaya called out a magazine’s useless photoshopping of her thighs, the publication pulled the issue. Scientists have created super muscular dogs to replicate a phenomenon that sometimes happens in nature.
