John wanted to continue the story of the Purity Certification.  He said that no son would prove to his mom with Purity Certification. When Lissette was young she was told that her body was a temple and that needed to stay pure, however when she got older, now and her mom talk about sex. When Ben was young, he wanted to learn how to drive a stick shift. When he told this to his dad,  he said "remember the stick shift isn’t extension to your penis." There was picture of Marie Osmond and Ben liked the picture, meanwhile his father saw it and asked him about the picture. Ben was held back in which his father got upset with him.  However, Ben was able to tell his Dad that he liked Marie Osmond and therefore his father agreed and that was their conversation about sex. John’s parents never really talked about sex with him.

Ben and Iadarola hosting. Hillary Clinton faced the Benghazi panel today. Video of Trey Gowdy talking about the “half a hundred” witnesses they’ve interviewed. Ben was perplexed by the use of the term half a hundred. Another video of Gowdy questioning the validity of the other Benghazi investigations, which were all conducted by Republicans. Polling on the validity of the Benghazi panel is a bit mixed. 72% say that the panel is being used for political reasons against Hillary, but far fewer think that they are going too far. Video of Clinton firing back at Rep Jim Jordan’s grilling by saying she’s sorry the facts don’t support his narrative. Ben Carson has taken a lead over Donald Trump by 8 pts in an Iowa poll at 28%. Sadly, Jeb Bush is polling at only 5% in Iowa. In response to the new numbers, Trump retweeted a tweet from someone that claimed Iowans have brain damage. He sent another tweet claiming that the “young intern” responsible apologizes. Ben Carson’s appearance on Glenn Beck included his opinions on the War on Drugs. Video of him promising to intensify the War on Drugs because he’s visited the border. Paul Ryan has the general support of the Freedom Caucus, without agreeing to his demands. Video of Rep Huelskamp voicing his frustration with Ryan’s positions. An Omaha school district meeting on the school’s sex ed policy that would expand to same sex relationships and gender identity caused an uproar with most of the parents in attendance. Some worried about the purity of their daughters and claimed that Planned Parenthood is behind this. Lissette Padilla joins Ben and John for SCS. Nevada officials are settling a lawsuit with the city of San Francisco after it was discovered that they were sending mentally ill patients to SF via bus. The Ronald McDonald statue outside of a Ronald McDonald house was vandalized by people upset about the fact that McDonald's restaurants aren’t good for people. Ben and John disagree over his affinity for McChicken.  A couple of lesbian students in California and South Carolina were suspended for wearing a t-shirt that read, “Nobody Knows I’m a Lesbian.” Some school officials deemed it disruptive and gang related. A bride presented a certificate of purity to her father on her wedding day. It was determined by her doctor that her hymen was in tact. Airbnb has apologized for posting several snarky billboards throughout SF after the city started charging the company a hotel tax after their business model has taken so many residents out of the housing market in the city. Ben and Lissette disagree on the criticism Airbnb is getting. A Russian ambassador tweeted a message disparaging U.S. terror policy with a picture of actor Kal Penn as a terrorist in “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.” Penn responded, pointing out the ridiculousness. Researchers found that feeling valued is an essential bond for marriages.
