Lindsey Graham Will Be Replaced By....
The late Sen. Lindsey Graham's sister, Darline Graham Nordone, will serve out the term of her brother.
- 10 minutes
We all found out this weekend, of course, that
Lindsey Graham had passed away. And I wanna
ask Marjorie Taylor Greene in a minute who she
thinks should replace him and who will replace
him. Those are two different answers, of course.
But first, let me tell you a little bit more
about it. um So obviously, they need as many
votes as they can in the Senate because of
[00:00:19]
how tight things are in Congress. So according
to the Wall Street Journal, this coming week,
the Senate is scheduled to consider the nomination
of Trump's Attorney General pick. Todd Blanch
on Wednesday, the nominee said to have his confirmation
hearing from the Senate Judiciary Committee
of which Graham was a member. Graham's death
could make it harder for the Senate to quickly
[00:00:35]
confirm Blanch given that Democrats are expected
to be sharply opposed. And the majority was
52 to 47, but Mitch McConnell is indisposed
right now in a hospital somewhere, we are
told. And obviously Lindsey Graham has passed,
so they need to fill this replacement right
[00:00:53]
away. And they have, we'll tell you who that
is. But remember, there's the- temporary replacement
and then there's the person who would replace
him on the ballot because he was running for
reelection in this cycle. So those are two different
issues and we'll give you both of those in
a second, but the Wall Street Journal continues.
The process to replace Graham is straightforward.
[00:01:12]
Governor Henry McMaster, a Republican, can appoint
a temporary replacement immediately to serve
out the rest of Graham's term and later in the
day he did. which ends in January. Once someone
fills the position, Republicans will be back
to a 53-47 majority, though Senator Mitch McConnell
remains unavailable. Then the state would hold
a redo of the Republican primary to select
[00:01:32]
a new nominee to take Graham's place on the
ballot, given the state's deep red lean, they
say. The winner of the special primaries is
expected to be the favorite to keep the seat
in the Republican hands in November's election
for the next six-year term. And so we've had
a lot of different names that are already in
the press. Let me run. run those by you. Lieutenant
[00:01:51]
Governor Pamela Yvette, who Trump backed uh
earlier, not for this seat, but for the earlier
run. Representative Ralph Norman, Representative
Russell Frye, former Representative Trey Gowdy,
former South Carolina Attorney General Alan
Wilson, former Senate candidate Mark Lynch,
[00:02:07]
current Secretary of Treasury for the United
States Scott Besson, former Governor and UN
Ambassador Nikki Haley, and former Representative
Nancy Mace. uh And that one is very controversial.
She uh tweeted about how just when I thought
I was out, they pull me back in. Mike Lawler,
[00:02:25]
who is a rabid Zionist in Congress was outraged,
outraged I say. He said literally no one is
pulling you back in, supposed to screw a task.
uh Taking glee over the potential of becoming
a senator because of a vacancy created by the
sudden death of your colleague is vile, completely
unfit to serve. uh I uh happen to think that
That's not why they're mad at Nancy Mason.
[00:02:48]
I have different reasons that I wouldn't want
Nancy Mason office. But again, we'll talk
her through in a second with Marjorie Taylor
Greene was a little bit different note. But
I gotta tell you who they did pick to do the
interim Senate position. And President Donald
Trump on Monday as the Washington Post reports
recommended that Darlene Graham Nordeau serve
[00:03:08]
out the term of her late brother, Senator Lindsey
Graham. And uh she uh was part of his apparently
his kitchen cabinet. That might have been quite
literal in their family kitchen. I don't know,
they were very close as siblings. We are told
to what degree she knows foreign policy or
[00:03:25]
politics or anything is not clear. To what
degree she will serve power is crystal clear.

dream big, and wake up better. The headlines
will still be there in the morning. You might
as well wake up ready for them. In my opinion,
if she wasn't going to serve uh the war machine
in Israel, there's about a 0 % chance they would
have picked her. But uh first, Marjorie, what
[00:05:12]
do you think of the replacement? And then who
do you think? likely to win in that melee
and who do you want to win? Well, I don't know
Lindsey Graham's sister, but I can tell you
right now that the only people they will consider
picking will be people that will have completely
[00:05:31]
obedient votes. So I'm sure they're expecting
that out of Senator Graham's sister and I'm
sure she will obviously comply. However, who
they pick for the special election and who
Trump endorses, is the one that people should
be more concerned about. And they will vet
[00:05:49]
them very carefully and make sure that these
are very serious Trump loyalists. These will
be vetted on all of their views. And if they
have a voting record as a sitting member of
Congress or elected politician, that will be
looked at. And of course, it will be the APAC
[00:06:06]
donors, the RJC, the entire Israel lobby will
be consulted. on who they prefer to replace
Lindsey Graham. And their voices, unfortunately,
will be listened to. And this is completely
America last, as always. I would say, um think
anyone that's very America first and is
[00:06:30]
sick and tired of the neocon establishment Republican
Party is not interested in Israel controlling
your elected officials. You should probably
be against whoever Trump endorses. But we'll
see who that is, but there will be an endorsement
very quickly given that that special election
[00:06:49]
is August 11th. Yeah, so the filing period
starts on July 21st, they have a week to file.
And then afterwards, the special primary is
going to take place on August 11th. And if
no candidate wins outright, there'll be a runoff
on August 25th. The reason I tell you all
[00:07:06]
that is because it's a super tight window. So
what uh saying about who Trump uh picks as
the candidate uh to endorse will have an enormous
effect on the South Carolina voters. And that
[00:07:21]
person is far more likely to breeze through
this process. So do you have a sense from
the list I read of who it might be, who the
most loyal servant of the establishment is
in the Republican Party in South Carolina? Yeah,
I wouldn't be surprised if he picked Russell
[00:07:39]
Fry. That's someone that is definitely a Trump
loyalist and will never rock the boat. Will
take direct orders and make sure they happen.
Somebody that the president likes very much.
There's a few others on that list that I'm
sure the deep state would love. Of course,
[00:07:57]
that would be Trey Gowdy. That's a Fox News
correspondent or host that's also a former
congressman. ah I believe on the Judiciary
Committee while he was in Congress. That would
be someone that I wouldn't be surprised if it
is being highly considered. I highly doubt
[00:08:17]
they will pick Nancy Mace. She would have
to make some really uh tough deals if they
did pick her. But I see that as a complete
long shot. Yeah, so uh look, I have objections
[00:08:33]
to Nancy Mace for a lot of her. positions that
you might agree with her on, I don't know.
And she's a little bit wild in how she conducts
herself that weird pajama run and then driving
to DC on some boat. Just strange in a lot of
ways, but my objections are not the same as
[00:08:52]
the establishment's objections. Their number
one objection was that she voted to release
the FC in the piles. So she became persona non
grata there, while everyone pretends that It's
not connected to Israel and that Israel doesn't
control Washington. The minute anybody voted
[00:09:08]
for that, they instantly, as you know better
than anyone else, became toxic in Washington.
So there's no chance that they will support
her. But is there any chance you think that
she could win despite the lack of support from
Trump or Washington? I think that would be
[00:09:26]
a tough hill for her to climb. She came in fifth
place in the governor's primary race in South
Carolina. So I think that would be a long shot
for her. So I think that's pretty tough.
Yeah. All right, well, we'll find out but for
now it's his sister who will now probably
[00:09:45]
very, very, very likely start voting for wars,
voting for Israel, voting for any other thing
that the donor class wants. uh So the chance
of someone that is going to represent you in
the South Carolina in the next Senate seat doesn't
seem overly high. an angel gets his wings.
[00:10:03]
Totally not true, but it does keep you updated
on our live shows.
