as promised the election results. Everybody's been watching. Last night was election night. Biggest race to watch was of course out of California. The top two candidates in the primary will advance in the general election in November regardless of party affiliation. That's how [00:00:15] California does its races out there. Now because California takes well a while to count the results, we have preliminary in, but they take a while to count the votes. We don't yet have the winners, but here's the status of the race right now. It seems to be pointing in the direction [00:00:34] of how November will shape up. And there you see it. Steve Hilton, the Republican, appears to be on top with 27.8 % of the vote. Right behind him, Xavier, Sarah, Tom Steyer, also known as the billionaire that not a lot of people like, but enough people voted that he's sitting [00:00:51] at third right now. Chad Bianco right behind him. Now the other election to watch, of course, was that LA mayoral race, Karen Bass, the incumbent, has now advanced to the general, but it's still not clear, not yet, who will join her. Will it be the big mouth Spencer Pratt, the reality [00:01:11] show host uh star, I should say, who now says he just wants to serve the people of LA? There is one race that was called, it's not good news for Donald Trump, we should tell you. He endorsed Randy Fenstra for the Iowa GOP primary race, called him a highly respected American first [00:01:32] congressman, Randy Feenstra, running for governor of Iowa. But that didn't quite work out, not at all, not enough for him to win. He lost to Zach Lomb, you see it right there, and that's in. not gonna change. And so for the first time here in a good bit, Trump is on the losing [00:01:54] end with somebody he's endorsed. Here's another race highlight for you, Dr. Adam Hamry, who was endorsed by Bernie Sanders in AOC won a crowded Democratic primary for a deep blue house district in central New Jersey. So that tells us a little bit about how things are [00:02:13] shaping up here. And if the Democrats are doing enough if their messaging is getting out, if progressives are squeaking through uh with their messaging as well. It appears that things are on track and perhaps there's more erosion as the war in Iran moves on, as gas prices [00:02:31] continue to soar, as food prices continue to soar and people can't keep up. It appears the electorate is engaged, coming out and Donald Trump may not have the pool. He seems to be in predicament of his own with his own fellow Republicans that he once had with the electric. [00:02:48] So we'll see how goes. You know what TYT has always been about? Taking on the corrupt greedy establishment. For us, it's the corporate media.
