They say karma’s a bitch, but those on the left might not use such a disparaging term for her now that the coronavirus has begun sweeping through Vice President Pence’s staff and has also set its sights on some of the top hosts at Fox News. That’s right, according to reports, the Vice President’s chief of staff has tested positive, as have four other staff members. Meanwhile, at Fox News, that bastion of misinformation about Covid-19, someone on a private flight home from the last presidential debate has apparently tested positive, potentially infecting the likes of Brett Baer, Dana Perino and Juan Williams, among others.

In this clip from The Damage Report, John and Francesca discuss this karmic upsurge, and note that contrary to common sense and decency, Mike Pence has opted not to quarantine himself, and will continue campaigning to spread the good word about Donald Trump with a side of coronavirus. Francesca says she’s impressed with this latest twist in the season finale of the Trump administration show and finds the whole thing entertaining, even the part where White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows failed in his efforts to block news of the outbreak from going public.

John, meanwhile, says he wishes the more egregious Covid deniers at Fox News - Laura Ingraham, Greg Gutfeld, Jesse Watters, et al - were the ones coming down with the virus they’d repeatedly downplayed instead of comparatively reasonable types like Juan Williams and Brett Baer. But perhaps the lesson is that it’s just a waiting game and we need to be patient while karma works her magic.
