Trump TOO EMBARRASSED To Admit Devastating Nikki Haley Truth
Donald Trump humiliates himself posting CBS News election polls that favor him while excluding poll that reveals Nikki Haley is surging past Ron DeSantis and coming to a devastating striking distance from Trump in a short time. John Iadarola and Francesca Fiorentini break it down on The Damage Report.

I'm not a candidate.

Dramatic news in the GOP primary.
That's Trump right over there,
[00:00:15]
he's been very busy lately
posting polls on Truth Social.
He always does that, and
today was no exception.
He was posting this one showing
him leading the Nevada caucus,
he's up by 60 points on Ron DeSantis.
So, you could understand why
he'd be enthusiastic about that.
[00:00:32]
You'll also probably understand why
he weirdly left one of the polls out.
>> For some reason,
he didn't post this one.
Now I don't know why,
let's see if we can figure it out.
Maybe it's because of the dramatic
tightening of the New Hampshire GOP
[00:00:49]
primary.
This is, by the way,
this is CBS News poll,
is not some random 4chan user
putting this together or whatever.
We will see if it's an outlier, but
they have been tracking this over time.
So, it's not one random poll,
this is a comparison to a prior
version of this exact poll.
[00:01:06]
And in it, the lead that Trump has,
has been reduced over Haley in
second place by 24 points in just three
months, four months at this point.
Trump is still up,
he's got 44% to Haley's 29.
[00:01:22]
But she has rocketed up more
than doubling her support,
racing past Ron DeSantis,
who's actually lost a couple of points.
Chris Christie is at about 10,
he's doing okay.
Ramaswamy, apparently conspiracy theories
are not the key to support in
New Hampshire for some reason.
[00:01:40]
But anyway, she is jumping up there.
And by the way, that maybe even
hides her new level of support.
Cuz if you look at this next one, which
also he did not post on Truth Social,
those who are considering or
might vote for a candidate,
Haley has now eclipsed
Donald Trump in that.
[00:01:57]
So many more are saying they will vote for
her and far more than that are saying
that they're considering voting for
her, even over Donald Trump.
Francesca, are we seeing
the rise of dark Nikki?
>> Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, she would
really argue with that characterization.
[00:02:16]
She wants to remind you she is
definitely white aspiring, and
not actually Indian American.
But yeah, she's been rising
thanks to Koch Brother Money and
other actual dark money supporting her,
some right wing billionaires.
[00:02:34]
But it is an interesting moment.
And I think, and this is where I will say,
it doesn't matter here,
that it's not DeSantis,
it's not Ramaswamy, right?
It's someone-
>> Mm-hm.
>> Who is a career politician, who does
have more experience, whose language is
[00:02:50]
far more tempered when it comes to
things like, let's say, abortion rights.
She has said yum for a federal ban,
but it will never happen a little bit,
i.e, I'm not gonna push for it, right?
>> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 2: She is a more tempered,
back to kinda like old school
conservative Republican.
[00:03:08]
Now, obviously Trump is still leading, but
it's not insignificant
that this is number two.
It shows also that I think some
of the people who voted for
Biden because there is
a Republican in the race.
Again, doesn't have 91 criminal
counts hanging over him and
[00:03:27]
is actually making some sense.
And his brains, their brain,
her brain is in her skull.
>> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> She's a lot more appetizing.
And I think it is not insignificant
that this is the person,
it's not fake anti-woke Ron DeSantis,
[00:03:42]
it's not Trump wanna be Ramaswamy-
>> Mm-hm.
>> Sneaky Haley.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah, and she, by the way,
she's not the person that I would pick.
I think Chris Christie is
more reasonable than her and
also still more willing
to criticize Trump.
She started to do that a bit more,
remembering that she was the person
who didn't wanna kick sideways.
[00:04:01]
And also, let's bear in mind,
she would be a disaster.
On foreign policy she is, like they said,
she's Dick Cheney basically.
But she at least seems to think
that government is a serious thing.
She seems to think that knowing
what's going on matters.
[00:04:17]
She comes to, from my point of view, many
of the wrong conclusions on these issues.
And she's wildly out of line with
current American thought about
things like abortion, as you pointed out.
But she isn't, as you say, she's not
Ramaswamy, she's not Ron DeSantis.
And so, I don't know, I like to see this.
[00:04:36]
It's not everything, as I showed you in
Nevada, he's still up by a ton over number
two, in Iowa-
>> Mm-hm.
>> He's still doing, Donald Trump
is still beating Ron DeSantis, but
she has got some big billionaire backers.
They're running ads,
they've got people in the field.
[00:04:52]
And as more of these start to come out,
if she wins in New Hampshire is
a very close second, then you could see
a boost going into future elections.
So, stay tuned for that's.
