Company Description

The Director of Membership is a key role in TYT’s paid membership program and is tasked with growing the membership business. Primary responsibilities include developing strategies, tactics, and content marketing along the membership acquisition funnel. This person will initiate, build and manage cross-departmental member acquisition and retention campaigns to grow the membership business. This exciting position has tremendous opportunity considering the huge TYT audience draws on a daily basis, rapid growth of the company, and strong brand recognition among millenials.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop strategies and tactics for expanding reach to new potential members, drive acquisition campaigns, and work with cross-functional team on execution to drive subscriber growth.
Understand and influence audience segmentation and develop go-to-market growth tactics for targeted segments Oversee all A/B testing to determine go to market strategies, conversion, retention, and messaging tactics to drive implementation decisions Performance Analytics Influence, define, and (where possible) deliver performance reporting describing membership acquisition and retention trends - inclusive of paid campaigns, conversion funnel, and content performance as it relates to conversion and retention. Collaborate with Finance team on forecasting growth of membership business based on performance trends Manage marketing messaging implementations variables including offer, copy, targeting, and creative. Report results and make recommendations for improvement. Manage membership acquisition messaging strategy and campaigns including producing/publishing newsletters, push notifications and drip campaigns. Work with Business Development team on affiliate deals with partners. Initiate and drive member retention programs across the company.

Candidate must be experienced in driving paid revenue from a subscription product, project management and A/B testing. Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Google Analytics is preferred. Experience with marketing, content management, planning, program development and implementation is a plus. We are looking for an ambitious, resourceful, creative, results-driven individual capable of functioning individually, as well as cooperatively with the team. This position requires exceptional marketing, analytical, organizational, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Related Work Experience
