TYT seeks a creative, interpersonal, problem-solving marketing analyst with strengths in social media, research and data analysis to support TYT’s growing social media presence, live viewership, membership, sponsorship, podcasting, and e-commerce.
A strong candidate is data driven and accustomed to taking initiative, inter-departmental collaboration, problem solving, and is forward thinking. This person should also have familiarity with news, politics, the media landscape, and progressive issues.
The marketing analyst will play a key role in supporting increasing brand recognition, viewership growth, and to drive revenue via implementation of effective marketing strategies. They will monitor digital marketing trends, analyze statistics, and work with the team to develop strategies for various campaigns.
Build the marketing analysis framework for TYT: social media platforms, podcasting, e-commerce, and email campaigns. Set-up analytics reporting on all social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat. Connect data from social media with Google Analytics to track and report traffic, activity and conversions. Measure ROI of marketing campaigns, tactics, and strategies. Create regular reporting on marketing KPIs: leads, conversion rates, platform traffic, and social media engagement. Interpret findings. Recommend social media and platform optimization by communicating and presenting key learnings from research and analysis. Create dashboards, visualizations and campaign performance reports to the marketing team. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, promotions, and communication strategies around campaigns supported by the Marketing and PR team. This includes: social media presence, live viewership, membership, sponsorship, podcasting, and e-commerce. Report on conversions, traffic, drop-off, etc. using Google Analytics. Identify revenue breakdown per social platform. Track source of revenue across all platforms. Conduct research regarding marketing strategies that the Marketing and PR, podcasting, and e-commerce teams should utilize. Identify reach and demographics. Provide data-supported feedback on copy, graphics, flights, and overall execution of campaigns. Collaborate with the team to develop appropriate and impactful promotions strategies to increase reach and attract new audiences. Analyze effective tactics for each new campaign that the Marketing and PR, podcasting, and e-commerce teams work on. Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct A/B testing. Social media optimization. Track and identify effective campaigns that translate to conversion via social media. UTM analysis and reporting. Track custom campaigns and performance. Review test hypotheses in A/B testing. Develop comprehensive test plans and success metrics. Calculate the final test results and provide deep dive analysis of the test results. Use experimental design to optimize marketing activities and new product initiatives. Evaluate target demographics and appropriate distribution channels and marketing tools. Conduct competitive research. Research and implement marketing tools to support various promotional campaigns.
