Cenk hosting. A military recruiting and training center in Tennessee was attacked today, killing 4 members of the military. The shooter fired a very powerful automatic rifle. The dead shooter was a 24 year old Muslim man that was an American citizen. Cenk is annoyed that the Dylann Roof mass shooting wasn’t considered a terrorist attack when it was just like this terrorist attack. Sandra Bland, a Black woman, was arrested on Friday by Texas police officers and held until Monday, when they found her dead body in the holding cell. Officials have called it suicide, but friends and family are disputing the claim. Video of officers making the arrest where they claim she assaulted the cop. After the deal in Greece and the Europeans was approved by the government, citizens took to the streets in protest. The peaceful protests turned into violence against riot police officers. President Obama got into a testy exchange with CBS reporter Major Garrett when asked why he’s content with the 4 Americans still being held prisoner in Iran. Video of battle and answer. Videos of Garrett claiming that Obama misinterpreted his question, meant to be provocative, and created a strawman to fight. Bill Maher called Major an asshole and said he should’ve just called the president the N word if he wanted to ruffle feathers. Other reporters like Jim Acosta are standing up for Garrett, claiming that it illustrates how weak the Iran deal is. The mayor of a small town in Washington state has a history of saying racist things, most recently calling the Obamas gorillas and monkeys. After he caught hell for the comments, he responded by refusing to resign because it would be admitting to being racist, and he’s not racist. Donald Trump has filed his financial records and continued to assert that he’s worth more than $10 billion. Cat fight between Ron Paul and potentially Donald Trump. Video of Paul calling Trump a dangerous person while on Alan Colmes radio show. A man confronted Texas gov Greg Abbott in JFK airport over his anti-gay rights stance, eventually telling him, “I’ll see you on the plane.” After officers let him go, JetBlue kept him off the flight. TYT poll asks if he should’ve been kept off the flight. Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Controversy over Caitlyn Jenner winning the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs. A new anti-drunk driving campaign in Tennessee tries to scare young men from drinking too much by pointing out they may end up with an ugly girl that’s chatty and clingy.
