3.20.12 Tuesday, March 20, 2012 Hour 1 Segment 1 Cenk hosting today.  Video of the RNC’s ad that claims Obama has a war on women based on words Bill Maher has used.  Video of Erin Burnett calling it down the middle; that its all politics, neither Party has a war on women.  Cenk is annoyed that CNN always has to call it down the middle.  Video of Bret Baier claiming that despite a new book that says Obama blamed Fox for many people believing he’s Muslim, no Fox host has ever called him a Muslim.  Videos of Doocy and Hannity suggesting that Obama is a Muslim without saying it outright.  Secret names for candidates Santorum and Romney.  Video of crazed Pastor Terry claiming that America is a Christian nation and if people don’t like it, they should leave.  Terry also said the Christian Church should be the conscience of the nation as Rick Santorum applauded.  VP Joe Biden said that the plan to kill bin Laden was the most audacious plan in 500 years of foreign policy.  Cenk thinks these assertions were foolish to say.  Jayar doesn’t think these assertions are such a big deal, he’s just being hyperbolic. Segment 2 President Obama’s negotiations with Repubs on the Grand Bargain.  They offered him $800 billion in exchange for tax cuts for the rich.  The $800 billion actually doesn’t exist for the rest of the country after several tricks are pulled to result in NO tax increase.  Cenk concludes that Obama’s desire to go along with this proves yet again that he’s not progressive.  The Boehner/Obama golf summit succeeded in getting Obama to go Boehner’s way, not the other way around.

3.20.12 Hour 2 Segment 1 Ana joins Cenk for SCS.  Video of Randal Terry responding to mass criticism of his anti-abortion stance and specifically calls out The Young Turks.  Ana points out that Terry seems pretty gay at the beginning of the video.  Update on the racist bumper stickers that read, “Don’t Re-Nig and reelect Obama.”  When asked about it, the creator said that the definition of nigger is lowdown and lazy.  A new bill in TN would make it easier for people to know the location of doctors that perform abortions.  Another part would give extra details on the women that have had abortions.  Ana talks about her Twitter war with Katie Pavlich over abortion.  To get an abortion, victims of rape or incest would have to prove their case before its granted. Segment 2 More updates on the Trayvon Martin case.  Viewers alerted us that on the 911 tapes, Zimmerman said, “Fucking Coons” while following the teenager just before he murdered him.  Audio of the moment.  Martin’s girlfriend was on the phone with him while he was being stalked by Zimmerman.  Cenk points out again all of the holes in the police dept case as they cover everything up for Zimmerman.  Study that shows people armed with a gun are more likely to perceive other people to be armed with a gun.  A TN lawmaker has been arrested for domestic abuse after he hit his wife in a drunken tirade.  He was upset after he shuffled through her cell phone.
