Madison Shaw
Madison Shaw is an editorial Intern at TYT Investigates.
Shaw is a recent graduate of Emerson College, where she studied Political Communications with a focus on Global Studies and Environmental Science. While in school in Boston, she worked with academic publications producing environmental health research to guide public policy.
She is an internationally recognized rare disease advocate with honors from the International Patient Organization for Primary Immunodeficiency and the National Organization for Rare Disorders.
Now based in Brooklyn, Madison has broadened her horizons, working in editorial research and press management. In addition to her work with The Young Turks, Madison works with TIME’S UP to advocate for more environmentally conscious and community-focused infrastructure across New York’s five boroughs. Her mission is to create an informed public and engage people in the fight for sustainable development.
She is eager to be working with TYT to make breaking news accessible and authentic.
