TYT LIVE: Lebanon Death Toll Soars, Trump Hormuz Blockade Crumbles, and MAGA Coalition Fractures
Lebanon reports over 2,100 killed and nearly 7,000 wounded in Israeli attacks since early March, as Iran-linked ships continue moving through the Strait of Hormuz despite Donald Trump’s attempted blockade—undercutting U.S. leverage in the region. JD Vance tells the Vatican to stay out of American politics, while tensions escalate further as Israel reportedly eyes Turkey as its next major adversary after Iran. Back home, unlikely alliances emerge with Ro Khanna and Marjorie Taylor Greene floating a joint coalition, even as Sam Harris warns that podcasters are becoming “dangerous” voices in the political space. Axios reports Trump is rapidly destroying his own coalition beyond just media figures, while violence creeps closer to the tech elite after a drive-by shooting targets Sam Altman’s home days after a Molotov scare.

TYT LIVE: AOC Makes New Vow, Hormuz Fight Looms, and Alex Jones Turns on Trump
Donald Trump says he’s “strongly considering” pulling out of NATO even as he claims Iran is begging for a ceasefire—something Tehran denies—while the U.A.E. signals it’s willing to join the fight to force the Strait of Hormuz open. Back home, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s vow to oppose military aid to Israel raises questions about a new Democratic standard on foreign policy. Meanwhile, cracks deepen in Trump’s base as Alex Jones declares it’s time to “cut bait,” saying the president is “in free fall,” and Trump fuels fresh controversy by suggesting his presidential library will “most likely” double as a hotel.

About TYT

Our mission statement at TYT is to boldly pursue truth, challenge the establishment and drive positive change. We have never wavered from that. It’s not easy to state the truth when lies help the powerful retain their power. It’s not easy to challenge the establishment when the establishment has all the power. And as we’re all aware, it is very difficult to drive positive change in a system meant to continue the status quo so that the powerful can stay at the top.

But we have decided to go on this path with our viewers because it is the only decent and sane path. This means we don’t do blind partisanship. We don’t follow antiquated ideologies because someone said we’re supposed to. We also don’t bow our heads to any political leaders or parties. We believe in independent thought. We’re for open-hearts and open-minds.

This is a unique experiment in American media. We’re going to try to build a community around being honest and fighting for the average person. TYT has a bright line rule that we never play with the facts. Our unflinching honesty for over twenty years has made us the most trusted show in digital media and earned us the title of The Online News Network.

The idea that the news is supposed to be neutral and dispassionate is nonsensical. You’re supposed to care about the news! We do and our audience does. That means we report the facts, we analyze the context and then take action to make the world a little better. We believe in hope. We believe that we can work together to make a difference. We hope you join us on this journey.
