The two Texas doctors that have created the world’s first open-source, patent-free COVID-19 vaccine are struggling to find funding for production and distribution of the potentially pandemic-ending vaccine. Dr. Peter Hotez and Dr. Maria Elena Bottazzi created this vaccine with no profit motive and better yet, this open-source Corbevax vaccine is far less expensive than Pfizer and Moderna’s renditions.
