Oklahoma’s Republican Governor Kevin Stitt has signed a law that bans anyone from declaring themselves as non-binary on the state’s birth certificates. The bill is in response to Republicans’ nationwide war against the transgender and non-binary communities, which will surely lead to an uptick in harassment of LGBT individuals as well as a decline in mental health for the community, especially LGBT youths.
