The ultra-conservative Supreme Court has just struck down a 1913 New York gun law that restricted a citizen’s ability to carry a concealed gun outside of their home. The 6-3 majority argued that the law is unconstitutional because there are too many restrictions in place preventing law-abiding citizens from expressing their “ordinary self-defense” needs.
