In a debate against Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, Sen. Bernie Sanders wasted no time in dismantling Graham’s horrible take on the country's healthcare system and how inefficient and broken the system actually is. Research published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA estimates that more than 338,000 people could have been prevented from dying during the pandemic if the country had a universal/single-payer healthcare system.
