A scientific research paper from Oregon State University has gone viral online by presenting data that suggests compounds found in cannabis “prevented entry” of the coronavirus into isolated human cells. While this doesn’t mean smoking cannabis prevents COVID infections, it does show promise for future, more accessible treatments or preventatives.
