MTG Goes OFF THE RAILS After House Kills Her Resolution To Censure Tlaib
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to censure Rashida Tlaib for antisemitism and leading an insurrection, both unverified allegations.
- 11 minutes
[00:01:43]
Talib fue atacado por exhibir la
bandera palestina en su despacho,
mientras la bandera estaba expuesta.
Ella es palestina.
Los críticos estadounidenses
dicen que la bandera debió quitarse
tras los ataques terroristas del 7
de octubre de Hamás,
[00:02:00]
Hamás y Palestina no son sinónimos.
De hecho, Hamás tiene su propia bandera.
No lleva la bandera de Hamás.
Lleva la bandera de Palestina.
Pero debería haberla quitado.
Según el legislador republicano Max Miller,
que introdujo una enmienda
[00:02:17]
para intentar obligar
a Talib a quitar la bandera.
Si quieres prohibir las banderas
en cualquier otro país,
que se cuelguen
en el edificio del Congreso.
Pero Miller aparentemente tiene un problema
con Marjorie Taylor Greene,
como debería ser.
[00:02:33]
Al menos es justo al llamar
a Marjorie Taylor Greene
y sus declaraciones antisemitas,
porque sus declaraciones
eran totalmente antisemitas.
Eso dijo.
Marjorie Taylor Greene ha
hecho comentarios antisemitas.
Rashida Tlaib ha hecho
comentarios antisemitas.
[00:02:49]
Creo que eso es ir demasiado lejos.
Rashida Talib debería
haber tenido más cuidado
con lo que dijo después
de los ataques terroristas de Hamás
del 7 de octubre.
Debería haber sido más sensible
en su respuesta inicial,
[00:03:06]
pero no creo que su
respuesta fuera antisemita.
Es antisemita,
culpa los incendios de California
a los láseres espaciales judíos,
lo que dijo Marjorie Taylor Greene.
Eso es antisemita. Ahora bien.
[00:03:24]
Mientras, los demócratas
sugieren que la resolución
contra Talib es un ataque racista.
Maxwell Alejandro Frost,
de Florida, es demócrata,
y quiere censurarla por ser negra.
Talib calificó la resolución
de islamófoba y ella hizo una declaración.
[00:03:43]
Voy a leer unos fragmentos.
La resolución desquiciada
de Marjorie es muy islamófoba
y ataca a defensores pacíficos
[00:04:00]
No me intimidarán.
No me deshumanizarán y no me callarán.
Seguiré solicitando un alto el fuego,
la entrega inmediata
de ayuda humanitaria, la liberación
de rehenes y de los detenidos arbitrariamente
[00:04:15]
y que todos los
estadounidenses vuelvan a casa.
[00:06:00]
Mirad, yo era joven en ese momento,
y definitivamente no estaba
muy involucrado políticamente.
Pero podéis volver atrás y leer no
solo lo que decían los neoconservadores
en las grandes publicaciones.
Obviamente, son las personas más trastornadas
en cuanto a política exterior.
[00:06:17]
[00:07:23]
Y lo gracioso es que después
de las atrocidades cometidas por Hamás
El 7 de octubre, Biden instó a Netanyahu
a evitar los mismos errores que EE.
UU. cometió tras nueve
tras el 11 de noviembre. No, eso no pasó.
[00:07:40]
De hecho,
las represalias fueron más intensas.
Me preocupa que esto
desestabilice la región
más de lo que lo ha hecho en el pasado.
Así que me alegro de ese look.
Me he dado cuenta, sorprendentemente,
[00:08:00]
de que algunos legisladores republicanos
nos muestran cierta humanidad
ante lo que está pasando en Gaza.
Thomas Massie es de los pocos congresistas,
el único republicano
[00:08:15]
de la Cámara de Representantes que votó
en contra de los 14 300 millones
que querían destinar a Israel.
Por cierto, se aprobó
en la Cámara porque solo había
y Thomas Massie, un republicano
que no apoya nada de esto.
[00:08:33]
Me encanta. Quiero ver más.
Me encanta que haya 25
republicanos que digan: "No, mirad,
hay algunos miembros que han dicho
abiertamente cosas repugnantes
cosas antisemitas,
incluida la mujer que propuso esta resolución.
[00:08:50]
Me alegra que vieran que necesitamos más
de eso en el Congreso,
para ser sinceros.
Dicho esto,
Marjorie Greene no estaba contenta.
Chip Roy había tuiteado sobre su decisión
diciendo que la diputada Rashida Talib había
hecho repetidas declaraciones indignantes
hacia Israel y el pueblo judío.
[00:09:06]
[00:09:23]
y toqueteando a Lauren Boebert.
Votaste con los demócratas
para proteger a Talib.
Odias a Trump, certificaste la
elección de Biden y te da igual
persigan a los acusados.
Chicos. Lo necesitamos.
[00:09:41]
Necesitamos adultos en la sala. ¿Vale?
[00:09:59]
pasar tiempo en esas cosas.
Bien por ti, Chip.
Roy y Marjorie Greene respondieron:
Cállate, coronel Sanders.
Ni siquiera eres de Texas.
Más bien de Tráfico.
Esa mujer es Si yo quisiera
que el Congreso y el Gobierno
[00:10:15]
lo dirigieran chicas malas
de instituto, habría apoyado
a alguien como Marjorie Greene.
Cojamos a Georgia, por favor.
Creo en ti. Por favor.
Sé que no elegirás
a un demócrata para su escaño.
Está bien. Votad a un adulto, ¿vale?
[00:10:33]
Aún no tenemos soluciones
para la crisis de la vivienda.
Ni para la crisis migratoria.
ni para la epidemia
de sobredosis de opiáceos,
[00:10:51]
que empeora cada año.
Les encanta sacar esos temas en campaña.
Pero cuando los reeligen, ¿qué hacen?
Te metes en una pelea de gatas
en Twitter con tu colega.
Sal de Twitter y haz tu trabajo.
[00:11:07]
a Donald Trump e intentando censurar
a alguien basándose en el antisemitismo.
[00:11:23]
Vergonzoso.
