Starbucks’ returning CEO Howard Schultz blatantly criticized the nation’s growing labor movement by saying that large corporations are “being assaulted” by workers’ efforts to unionize. Schultz is a notorious union-buster and is clearly sending a threat to all Starbucks workers that there will be consequences if they don’t fall in line with the corporation’s stance on unions.
