After House Democrats passed a bill capping the price of insulin at $35 for a month for insured Americans, dissenting Republican Matt Gaetz had a different solution for solving prescription drug the price gouging crisis. In a letter to constituents, Gaetz wrote that fat people are to blame for the price hikes in insulin, not Big Pharma, since they refuse to workout and lose weight to “cure” their Type 2 diabetes.
