A bill was introduced in the Oklahoma State Senate that would anyone to sue teachers that engage in opposing or differing viewpoints to a student's religious beliefs. Under this proposed law, parents could remove any book or other form of content that could be perceived as "anti-religious", such as books on LGBTQIA+ issues, evolution, and birth control.
