Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is under fire yet again for his alleged involvement in leveraging Florida public university system’s board of trustees for campaign donations. Florida’s Democratic candidate for governor Nikki Fried made the accusation stemming from DeSantis appointing campaign donors to various boards of trustees within the university system as well as signing a law that threatens to defund state universities that don’t have adequate “ideological diversity”.
