Biden Posts Montage Of Trump Trash-Talking Veterans
- 10 minutes
Biden post compilation of
Trump bad mouth and veterans.
President Joe Biden and Donald Trump
took the social media on Saturday to
mark Veterans Day with different messages.
Biden took the X formerly
known as Twitter's to say,
today we honor the story of our veterans,
the story of our nations at its best.
[00:00:16]
On Veterans Day,
let's recommit to fulfilling one of
our sacred obligations as a nation.
To prepare those who we send into
harm's way and care for them and
their families when they come home.
Again, that's Biden's post
on formerly Twitter, now X.
[00:00:31]
Biden adding that as commander in chief,
I have no higher honor and
as the father of his son who served,
I had no greater privilege.
The Biden campaign also made this video
compilation of all the times Trump
had reportedly badmouthed veterans.
Let's roll this video.
[00:00:48]
[MUSIC]
[00:01:20]
>> Speaker 1: He's not a war hero.
>> Speaker 1: War hero.
>> Speaker 1: So
he's a war hero cuz he was captured.
I like people that weren't captured, okay?
I hate to tell you.
[MUSIC]
>> I like war heroes that aren't captured.
[00:01:36]
Sorry, I gotta tell you.
This came from someone
talking about a war hero,
John McCain,
who actually did not dodge the draft for
the same war that President Donald Trump
dodged the draft in.
It is absolutely ridiculous.
Biden posted this video on his
personal X account, saying,
[00:01:52]
if you don't respect our troops,
you can't lead them.
As a Marine Corps veteran,
I feel that statement.
That is absolutely true.
There's a certain amount of disgust
that Donald Trump has shown, not just on
Veteran Day or not just in comments
about people who spoke out against him.
It's about disabled veterans
who were captured or killed.
[00:02:11]
So, this long history of him not
understanding why people sacrifice so much
for the very freedoms that he exploits
is absolutely disgusting, Jackson.
And I'd love to hear your take on this.
>> Speaker 2: Well, the more I watch
Trump, the more the facade of him
[00:02:28]
being this man with a plan
just continues to evaporate.
In my opinion,
he accidentally got elected in 2016.
He never really wanted the job.
It would have been much better for
him to have not been elected.
He could have capitalized and made money.
And now he's facing all these issues,
really, because he was in office.
[00:02:46]
And so, again, as you pointed out,
he never served.
But was he even thinking about
that when he said these things?
No, he just talks.
He can't shut up.
He'll literally come out of the courtroom,
say, f the judge, f the prosecutors, and
[00:03:01]
then go straight back into the courtroom.
And if he doesn't win in 2024,
it's gonna be because of stuff like that.
It's not gonna be because,
people just love Biden.
It's gonna be because he can't help but
bury and dig himself a deeper grave.
[00:03:17]
I think that what he's doing is he's
positioning himself such that anybody who
feels that this country has
to be just taken back and
overthrown, they're on his team.
So that includes people who are against
the black community, the Latino community,
the LGBTQ community,
the military, the establishment.
[00:03:34]
Because for some reason,
Trump continues to be the outsider
who's here to save us all.
It's ridiculous, but it's real.
We really can't let this
dude get in office.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah, and
listen, people keep talking about our
democracy as is this strange thing.
People need to be talking about
what's truly at state for voters.
[00:03:51]
Because I'm telling you, this conversation
about democracy rings well in the Beltway,
but it doesn't hit home for people who
are suffering through everyday living.
And to believe that Trump, this guy
who's in court on billionaire charges,
has the best interests of poor people
when he can't even stand them and
[00:04:07]
don't even understand their lives.
This is a person who believes you need
an ID to buy a loaf of bread at a grocery
store, meaning he's never shopped for
himself.
If you believe he has your best interest
at hand, you just don't understand who he
is and who he's been since he's been
on the political scene since the 70s.
[00:04:24]
Now we heard what Biden
said on social media.
Here's what Trump had to say.
Trump, on the other hand,
first marked Veteran Day with the message
on his Truth Social platform that he said.
To our heroic veterans, I am grateful for
your service to our country and
honor to wish you a happy Veterans Day.
[00:04:40]
He added that there is no greater act
of selfless service than defending
America's God-given freedoms and liberty.
That's according to Newsweek.
Several hours later,
cuz you know Donald Trump can't be done.
Trump returned with a more
polarizing message.
In honor of our great Veterans,
on Veterans Day,
[00:04:56]
we pledge to you that we will root out
the Communists, Marxists, Fascists, and
Radical Left Thugs that live like vermin
within the confines of our country.
Lie, steal and cheat on elections,
and we will do anything possible,
whether legally or illegally, to destroy
America and the American dream, he wrote.
[00:05:14]
The threat from outside forces is
far less sinister, dangerous, and
grave than the threat from within.
Despite the hatred and anger of the
Radical Left Lunatics who want to destroy
our country,
we will make America great again.
This idea, this is a person who
said the military is weak as ever.
[00:05:33]
This is a person who disparaged
general after general after general.
This is a person who has no care for
America at all.
What happened at the UFC, people say,
Monday why are you talking about the UFC?
We're talking about Trump.
I'll tell you why.
[00:05:49]
Because we don't know if this is true or
not, but the wife of comedian Bill Bird,
Neil Hill, allegedly flipped off Trump
during the UFC 295 event on Saturday.
And whether she meant to or not, or
she was just looking at the camera and
it was a coincidence there,
I would say the universe is amazing.
Cuz that FU comes from me and
every veteran who actually cares about
[00:06:08]
the liberties that Trump is exploiting for
himself, for selfish gain.
What we do know is that Trump
gives a big FU to the military and
everybody who cares about democracy.
And that this experiment called America,
every day he opens his mouth
with new lies, Jackson.
[00:06:25]
>> Yeah, and again, first of all, ChatGPT
wrote that message that he typed out.
Anytime it's like a long paragraph and
there's not a lot of capitalized words for
no reason in there,
then he probably didn't write it.
But, the more I see of him, it's just,
can we just move past this dude?
[00:06:46]
We become so used to him.
But it's really like,
he's really an unbelievably,
he's a cartoon character,
you know what I'm saying?
He's a loser.
He's such a fake tough guy.
Not to say that he can't do damage,
cuz he certainly can.
But it's, what was his candidate's
name in Kentucky, Cameron, who'd lost.
[00:07:03]
Before the election, he's,
Cameron, he's got a big shot.
He's got a lot of opportunities.
And then the day after he lost, he's, no,
he couldn't remove the stench
of Mitch McConnell.
That didn't have anything to do with me.
And then he pointed to Mississippi,
where a red rock could win in
Mississippi versus a Democrat.
[00:07:21]
And he's, well, that's because of me,
it's tiring, but unfortunately,
it's real and we gotta talk about it and
we gotta do what we gotta do.
So, here we go.
>> Yeah, and even in Mississippi, where he
tried to point to where, like you said,
whenever there's a victory,
Trump wanna take credit for it.
Whereas a loss,
he had nothing to do with it.
[00:07:38]
But even in Mississippi,
that story is even more complex, right?
Mississippi shouldn't
be a bright red state.
It should be a blue state.
But the lack of investments from
Democrats has left the blackest state in
the union to swallow in
the Republican mess that it is.
Even with all that, Mississippi,
the governor barely won his race.
[00:07:57]
And what they did in Hines county,
accounted as 73% black was what?
Run out of ballots five times on
the election, forcing people to wait.
And then they tried to close the polls and
they only gave people an extra hour,
even though they kept
running out of ballots,
preventing black people in this district
being able to exercise their rights.
[00:08:13]
So we know what Trump wants to talk about
lacks the depth to really give his people,
his followers, a true sight into it.
Now, here's what TMZ
had to say about this.
Hill accompanied her comedian husband to
the UFC 295 event Saturday night
at NYC Madison Square Garden.
[00:08:30]
And during one of Trump's on-camera
moments, on the Jumbotron,
she flipped the bird, which many have
taken to be directly targeted for Trump.
Frankly, it's hard to tell if this F-U is,
in fact intended for Donald Trump.
As I said, it doesn't matter,
right now I'm claiming it as everybody
who hates what this person stands for.
[00:08:48]
I hate it.
Of course, Donald Trump followers are
going crazy and he's getting Bill Burr,
the comedian is getting a ton
of hate from the right-wing.
But what we do know is his wife is
getting a lot of support from majority
of the people on social media saying she's
speaking for a majority of Americans.
[00:09:04]
So while people might not wanna talk
about what's going on, Jackson,
it is what it is.
I'm gonna give you the last
comment before we run the break.
>> Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely.
It definitely is what it is.
And at the end of the day,
neither Biden or Trump are popular.
We gotta get to 2028 first,
honestly, for the slate to be clean.
[00:09:22]
But we can't forget that Trump is,
really, people don't like Donald Trump.
The base that likes him votes.
They show up to the polls, and if we show
up to the polls, he ain't gonna win.
It's really as simple as that.
There's a lot of work to be done.
The Democratic Party,
we gotta get more progressives in there.
[00:09:39]
We gotta do our part.
We gotta be more involved in our
backyards and our own communities,
cuz if we not, then we really
ain't gotta no right to complain.
But at the end of the day, we gotta make
it past this guy and we gotta get to 2028.
So, that's just a situation.
[00:09:55]
>> Speaker 1: Yeah, and
it also makes sense for
us to acknowledge that Trump
didn't just lose 2020, right?
He lost 2022 when the lack of rate wave,
and then he also just lost in Virginia and
this election cycle, too.
So people need to understand
that the world is reject,
majority of Americans rejecting
the ideal that it's Trump.
[00:10:12]
His bass is so loud, though.
