Infrastructure Vote

There are currently two infrastructure bills making their way through Congress. One is a robust bill that invests in climate action, childcare, jobs, and other desperately-needed infrastructure, but is only supported by Democrats, so it will only pass on a strict party-line vote through reconciliation. The other is a watered-down sham described as the "Bipartisan bill" that can theoretically attract support from Republicans, but only because it offers an insultingly small fraction of the investment as the other bill. Corporate Democrats like Kyrsten Sinema are now pushing for a vote on the "Bipartisan Bill," but if that bill gets voted on first in the House, the more substantial, Democrat-only bill will be DOA and never pass. This is a trap. We can't allow that to happen. For that reason we, the undersigned, insist: NO HOUSE DEMOCRAT SHOULD VOTE FOR THE BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE BILL UNTIL THEY VOTE ON THE DEMOCRATIC VERSION OF THE BILL.

For The People Act

Compromise with corporate Democrats like Joe Manchin has led the Democratic Party to take out the best anti-corruption and campaign finance reform provisions of For the People Act. We, the undersigned, ask for an up or down vote in the House and Senate on the provisions taken out of the For the People Act.

McDonald's Workers Strike for $15

On May 19, workers at McDonald’s will strike as they continue their demand for a $15/hr minimum wage. Will you stand with them by refusing to eat McDonald's on May 19? Whether you eat McDonald's or not, join us in stating your support for the McDonald’s strike this Wednesday and everything it represents in our fight for worker's rights to be prioritized over lining the pockets of CEOs at the expense of their employees. Stop Manchin

In an attempt to gain support for his infrastructure bill, President Biden has campaigned in deep-red Louisiana. But why just target states with Republican Senators when a Democratic Senator is the real roadblock to getting your agenda passed? We, the undersigned, believe that Joe Biden needs to step up to Joe Manchin. You're the President, not him. Set up shop in West Virginia, and let voters there know who's really stopping vital federal funds from getting that state - and the entire country - back on track: corporate Democrat Joe Manchin.

Blood Drive

It is within the President's power to overturn the needlessly discriminatory practices in place regarding blood donations from gay and bisexual men. What was once a lifetime ban has changed over the years, but still gay and bisexual men must follow celibacy guidelines heterosexual men and women do not. We, the undersigned, urge the Biden administration to use its power to immediately allow gay and bisexual men to donate blood.

The Hateful Eight

I, the undersigned, will never donate, volunteer or vote for anyone, Republican or Democrat, who votes against a $15 an hour minimum wage. That includes these eight Democratic Senators who have already voted against it: Joe Manchin (WV), Jon Tester (MT), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), Maggie Hassan (NH), Angus King (ME), Kyrsten Sinema (AZ), Tom Carper (DE), Chris Coons (DE)

Save Us, Kamala!

One of Kamala Harris' top priorities is to pass a $15 an hour minimum wage. There's great news for the Vice President - she has the power to include it in the Covid relief bill! In her role as the Presiding Chair of the Senate, she has sole authority to decide whether the minimum wage provision can be included in the bill as part of the process called reconciliation. So, the Vice President can single-handedly save the minimum wage increase and save millions of people from a life of poverty. So, we, the undersigned, ask you, Vice President Harris, to rule that a minimum wage increase is allowed in the Covid relief bill.

Don't Kill It, Bernie

Bernie Sanders, as Chair of the Budget Committee, decides what goes in the COVID relief bill. It's his decision on whether a $15-per-hour minimum wage is included in the bill or not. If he keeps it in, it forces the Democrats to vote on it and means it has a chance of passing. If he takes it out, it means Bernie Sanders is killing the increase in minimum wage himself. We, the undersigned, have a clear message: Don't kill it Bernie!

Do The Minimum

I will never give my time, my money, or my vote to anyone who votes against raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, whether they are Democrats or Republicans.

End the Filibuster

Democrats have the White House, Senate and House. They don't need a single Republican vote. Bipartisanship is an obvious excuse for inaction and it prioritizes Republican politicians over Democratic voters. End the filibuster and pass every priority that helps the American people. The undersigned believe Democrats should do what they promised. The only way to pass our policies is to end gridlock in the Senate. So, end the filibuster now!

Kick Them Out

On January 6th, 18 Republican Members of the House from the states of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan and Wisconsin will challenge the validity of the 2020 elections in their own states. They are saying that elections in their states were fraudulent and should be re-examined. All of them should immediately be expelled from the House because they are saying their own elections were fraudulent and invalid. Sign this petition to put pressure on the House to expel these un-American legislators trying to tear down our democracy. If they want their own elections invalidated, the House should oblige them by immediately removing them from the building.
