Last night Mayor Pete Buttigieg declared himself "victorious" in Iowa despite the fact that the state’s Democratic Party hadn’t released the results yet.  
 
As reports of "inconsistencies" delayed the final tally until the following day, Pete told the nation
 
"We don't know all the results, but we know by the time it's all said and done, Iowa you have shocked the nation. Because by all indications, we are going on to New Hampshire victorious."
 
But what if, after the final delegate count is released to the public, it turns out Pete DIDN’T actually win?  Will the media call him out for trying to, essentially, pull a fast one?
