Ana and John continue for SCS. A 2nd healthcare worker that has been infected with Ebola took a flight from Cleveland to Dallas after working with the known Ebola patient. Frontier Airlines is taking precautions with the flight crew from her flight to track the potential spread. A 16 year old boy from Guinea was playing in his high school soccer game and was taunted by the opposing team with Ebola chants and racial epitaphs due to his African background. A pregnant Iowa woman in labor was rushing to the hospital when they were intercepted by police trying to stop them for speeding. As the drive turned into a police chase, the tires were blown out and the couple was greeted with a gun wielding cop. Ana pitches the new show, Styleogue. Colorado police are afraid that edible marijuana candies may be given out to Trick or Treaters, so they’re sending out warnings. Ana and John thinks this is fear mongering. Ana talks about what her Halloween costume will be. Rapper Afroman has released a new weed based song after his popular one released 13 years ago. The new one is based in the positive effects of weed. A video clip of the song is played. Author John Grisham got into hot water for his thoughts on old men that get wrongfully jailed for stumbling upon child porn when drunk, ending up searching for and finding 16 year old girls having sex. Ana and Iadarola host TYT. As Ebola fear spreads in America, travel bans are becoming more and more prevalent and are now being debated among political figures. The list of lawmakers in favor of banning travel from West African nations affected is larger than those against it. Discussion over how this would be detrimental even though it sounds like a safe thing to do follows. Conservative Marc Siegel wrote a piece for the National Review on why we should do a travel ban even though he thinks it would actually be counter-productive. Since fearful politicians are advocating a ban on flights from Africa, John Boehner’s spokesman was asked if flights should be banned from Texas, where the only American cases reside. He dodged the question. Video of Shep Smith voicing how wrong it is for media figures to mislead the American people on the spreading of ebola is shown. While the 2nd nurse infected with Ebola was being airlifted to Atlanta for treatment, one mystery man involved wasn’t wearing any protective gear, and people noticed. Rick Scott and Charlie Crist’s Florida Gubernatorial debate was delayed because Scott didn’t want Crist to have a personal fan under his desk. Videos of the delay and eventual emergence of Rick Scott are played. John and Ana talk about how this clearly illustrates the uselessness of this political format. Bill O’Reilly and Jon Stewart debated White Privilege. A study showed that if the minimum wage was raised to $10.10/hour, the government would save $7.6 billion or more per year on welfare to struggling Americans.
